After the fire fighters arrived everything seemed to calm down. It's easy to tell when a city has problems when the reporters arrive before the police do. I didn't trust the police anyways. Not after the things I've seen. I noticed a rather customised police car stop in front of the building as I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. Let's just say I didn't trust 'most' police. Out of the car jumped a black haired beauty and a pink haired bombshell of a woman as I walked towards them as they looked up at the scene.

"This ones gonna be a bitch to paper work..." The pink haired woman said as she tilted her shades down. Seriously? Shades at night?

"It tends to help if you take the sunglasses off Vi. You'll be able to see the fire better." I start as I stand next to them as Caitlyn looks to me a look of surprise and confusion in her eyes.

"Wayne? The hell are you doing here?" She asked as she folded her arms as I stare up at the flames. 

"Was on a stroll ended up here when it exploded." I said as Vi scoffed rolling her eyes.

"Please. You strolling this late at night without an escort? Cut the crap Bruce." She said. A hothead for sure and the only one I knew who used my middle name. According to her she didn't have enough respect for my family to call me by my last name and she didn't have enough respect for me as a person to call me by my first name.

"K/DA. They recently became my clients and after a signing I took them home. As we rolled up their penthouse went up in flames. One of my men apparently set off a detonator inside when he went to secure the entrance." I said as the girls looked shocked as I pointed towards the car with K/DA inside surrounded by photographers. Luckily my men were keeping them from practically breaking the windows.

"You're managing K/DA? Didn't know you were heading into the music industry." Caitlyn said as she started scratching into her notebook. I took a look and found a distinct lack of my favorite commissioner.

"Was gonna go public next week. Though guess the cats out of the bag at this point. How's Gordon? Surprised he's not here right now. Don't tell me they let him go." I said with my hands in my pocket taking my phone out as I check a tracker I put on Gordon's glasses. He's at the precinct.

"He's swamped with paperwork after the flooding incident in the Zaun region. Apparently shimmer is back. Yay." Vi said as she folded her arms tapping her foot before she turned to me.

"If we have to we can take the girls in for questioning get them a place for the night." Vi said as I shot her a glare which startled her almost, a bead of sweat rolling down her face before I softened my gaze.

"That won't be necessary. This penthouse was supposed to be among the safest in Piltover. Now it's in flames. I'll accommodate them at Wayne Manor for now. In the meantime see if you can find out who did this. With how grand it was they have a flare for the dramatic." I explained as Caitlyn nodded taking a look at my hand which had a slight shake to it.

"You doing ok? You're a bit shaky. Pale as a ghost." Caitlyn said as I look to my hand seeing the shaking. "When was the last time you drank?" She finished as I closed my eyes having a think.

"It's been about a month and a half. Things have gotten hectic with public releases and interviews. I haven't found a comfortable time." I said as I manage to stop my shaking. Caitlyn gave a sigh as she pulled me into a hug. One I wasn't opposed to but she also turned her neck to be more open.

"Bite now. Before someone sees." She said as I take a deep breath and nod as I bite into her shoulder and start ingesting her blood. She grunted in pain but kept up appearances. I didn't drink for long but color had already returned to my face. I release as she quickly covered the puncture wound which didn't bleed.
