A young blue age of five sat with her head against her moms lap getting her scalp oiled when she turned around to look at her mother
"Mommy tell me about your soulmate "she loved to hear her mom speak about the woman named soleil who her mother loved so much but blue never got to meet her
"well I'll start at the beginning, way back in 1988 when I was just five years old like you are now, there was a new girl in our kindergarten class, our teacher pointed out how our names matched, her name meaning sun and mines meaning moon, at 5 we didn't understand that yet but that lack of understanding didn't stop our friendship" Luna chuckled as she continued to brush blue's hair
"And from 5 all the way to 22 we were inseparable, never apart day and night. When we became teenagers we really never left each other's sides even when we started dating, we both lost so many boyfriends because they couldn't understand that our friendship came first to us" Blue smiled at the hope that one day she too would have a friend like her mother did
"But at 21 we both found out we were pregnant, and when we found out our babies were both girls we decided to give you both matching names, I remember us looking up words in the library and on soleils old computer trying to find names that we liked, we decided that we would use names that mean cold and blue. That's why your name is blue samui, what does Samui mean lovely?" Luna asked the intelligent five year old
"It means cold in Japanese"she said with a proud smile
"Right love bug, and she named her daughter Lumi Azure, it pains me everyday that we never got to meet each other's daughters, but her dad wanted to be governor and her being pregnant out of wedlock wasn't a good look for him so he sent her to live with her grandmother in Wyoming"
"Wheres Wyoming?"blue scrunched her face up in confusion
"Hell if I know,the day she left was so hard you know, we spent everyday for 17 years together and just like that I lost her I lost my soulmate,my other half ,but within that lost I found you blue you brought me back" Luna said as she picked up blue and placed her on her lap
"Do you ever think you'll see her again"
"I'm sure of it, because we are meant to be with each other I know it"

" c'mon Lu stop worrying"an 18 year old soleil pulled a young Luna along with her into a party
"Yo So your dad is gonna kill us,"Luna yelled
I'm soleil's ear as "where the party at" by jagged edge blasted inside the house as they walked in. They seen all types of girls and guys dancing and drinking holding red solo cups
"Yo this is hot" a giddy So pulled lu by her hand into the kitchen, lu watched her pour two shots of "Bacardi Rigo", they tossed them back
"Word check her out" lu chuckled as a girl from class they didn't particularly like walked pass in a trashy barely outfit
"what a skank" So mocked making them both laugh as they took another shot
"yo yo yo the sun and the moon blessing us with their godly presence " a familiar voice beckoned behind them, causing the girls to touch fingers in a handshake before turning around
"yeah yeah wassup javi" Lu spoke. Javier, or Javi for short was a biracial Hispanic and black boy they've known since grade five. He stood 6'5 long loose curls that fall down passed his shoulders and bright brown eyes with long eyelashes matched his honey brown complexion perfectly, needless to say all the girls wanted him but his heart beats only for miss Luna.
