☾𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒖𝒊 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆
We pulled into lumi's driveway. i could tell she was nervous about people meeting her family but i didn't know why and knowin lumi she'd never tell me the real reason. as we got out the car and walked towards the door i could hear music playing from the house.
"mama, i'm here" lumi said loud enough to be heard over the music but still not yelling, as i just stood behind her.
"c'mon they probably in the den" she grabs my hand and leads me to where the music is playing from, it getting louder the closer we get. I noticed her parents.
Her dad was a tall dark skin man with waves and bright white teeth i could see as he laughed at his wife, Her mother was a brown skin woman her skin was smooth and it shined in the light they had down here, her hair was long and curled but she had it pulled into a bun, she had rings on every finger but her wedding ring was huge taking all the focus.
"guys this is my friend Blue" they were in the den conversing and listening to music, they looked over at me and before i knew it Mrs. Wilson pulled me into a hug.
"oh my you're lovely, it's nice to finally meet you honey" she said looking down at me as she held my hands in hers, her energy was intimidating but not in the bad way sort of comforting and warm.
"it's nice to meet you as well Mrs.Wilson" i smiled up at her, i didn't realize she was so tall until she was right infront of me, i see where lumi gets it from.
"Hello, it's lovely to meet you" her dad pulled me into a tight hug too.
damn, if another mf hug me my lungs gone break
"okay okay, that's enough we're going to my room" lumi said grabbing my hand and pulling me up the stairs. for them to just moved in the house was already decorated so well, i noticed pictures of lumi as we made our way upstairs.
she was alone all the time
"so this is my room, it's not finished or anything cos i left a lot of stuff back in wyoming" she shrugged her room was nice as hell. she had this whole artsy urban vibe to it. i looked around the room looking up to the ceiling seeing a pride flag making me raise my eyebrows.
"oh i don't know you were.." i left the space open waiting for her to fill it in. i knew she was into girls though i just wanted her to say it, well i had my suspicions.
"oh imma lesbian" she shrugged it off before clicking youtube on her tv music slowly began playing its was some calm shit. The internet.
"uhm so you need clothes, you want some shorts and a tee?" she asked i nodded before taking my tote bag off and hanging it on the hook that was on the back of her door. she handed me the clothes before showing me where the bathroom was.

Lumi walked down stairs after showing blue to the bathroom, she was on her way to the kitchen as she heard her parents still in the den
"that girl she just reminds me of her, it's odd you have to admit " she heard her mother saying but instead of being nosey she just made her way back up with the snacks she grabbed.
When she walked in she saw blue with the remote in her hand trying to find a movie. lumi sneakingly admired blue, liking the way blue looked in her clothes. she found herself liking everything about blue.
