"LETS GO LU!!" i screamed watching her make her way down the court. It was the first game of the season and my girl was starting so proud. I wasn't gonna be able to watch the whole game since as the manager I'm pretty busy ripping and running tryna make coach job easier.
"Blue can u go in my office and get them snacks and take them to the concession stand Tyler should be waiting on you" speak of the devil, coach gave me her keychain so i could complete the task
as i was ripping and running i ran into Lumi's parents
"Oh hey Mr.Wilson, Mrs.Wilson" i said pushing the cart i was using aside to hug them, i had gotten used to them being huggers, thats where lumi got her touchy behavior from
"oh hi blue honey, coach got you busy huh?" Mrs.Wilson chuckled and i nodded laughing too
" Yes indeed. Oh my parents are here too, you guys can finally meet" me and lumi wanted to introduce them, because me and her spending so much time together of course our parents were asking about each other, so this was the perfect opportunity
"That's great" Mr.Wilson smiled, while Mrs.Wilson just nodded her atmosphere almost shifted like she was worried or anxious
"I'll introduce you guys when i get back to the gym i have to go take these to concessions, it was nice seeing yall" i said before wheeling the cart off in a hurry
" my bad for taking so long tyler"i said pushing the cart through the door which was propped open
"it's fine, gave me a break" he shrugged, i just nodded before helping him take some of the snacks off the cart
"so what's up with you blue"
"not shit just doing my job, what bout you" Tyler from the interactions we had was a cool guy, he was the other team manager cause his sister was on the team.
"same, coach know she keep a nigga busy tho'"
"man whattt" i dragged out with a laugh
"so what you getting into after the game" he stopped what he was doing leaning against the counter and looked down at me with his bottom lip in his mouth

"uhh me lumi and ej prolly gone go out to eat with our folks, i gotta go" i hurriedly turned the cart around and took off taking it back towards coach's office
i stood outside the gym doors scrolling on my phone a bit before going back in the gym, just taking some downtime cos coach was prolly finna find another job for me soon as i walked through the door.
When i walked in to peeped the score we were leading by twenty. I walked over the the other team manager to see what the book was looking like, so far lumi had three fouls, she gets hotheaded when she plays. I watched as she had the ball and was running it down the court, i took my phone out to record watching her make the shot as the team hyped her up. I loved seeing her so passionate about something.
When i noticed coach wasn't calling me to do something else i took my opportunity to go up to my parents and ej, just to see what they were talking bout.
