70. Stand off

~Aka POV~

Loki picks the boy up by the neck holding him in the air, Loki's eyes glow crimson red.

"What have you done to my daughter?"

The boy coughs and chokes.

"I didn't- do anything-"

You're as worried as Loki is but you want to hear the full story before condemning this kid. You step to make Loki stop but Rosa beats you too it.

She jumps up and hits Loki right in the stomach with her full body weight causing him to double over with an 'oof' and drop the boy. Loki quickly jumps back into action and Rosa steps between him and the boy.

Rosa shifts to wolf form but her eyes are bright red and she's much bigger than she was before. The others who were at the sleepover jump between Loki and the boy behind Rosa. Angel spreads her wings blocking him from view.

Rosa growls deep and loud at Loki. She's definitely an alpha. You hear her voice through a mind link with you her and Loki.

'Don't. Touch. Him.'

Loki speaks out loud in a threatening voice.

"Get out of my way"

The boy peeks out from behind Angels wings and you recognize him. It's Kyle, Rosa's friend she hasn't heard from in years. He speaks

"Rose it's okay, just let him kill me, it doesn't matter"

Hearing those words breaks your heart and you step up next to rose in front of Loki. At the same time Rosa snarls once at Kyle.

~Rosa pov~

You are overcome with rage as you stand there against your father. You are willing to hurt him if you have to. You've lost Ky once and you're not going to do it again.

"Rose it's okay, just let him kill me, it doesn't matter"

Your vision is blurred with anger as you snarl a warning at him. When you look back mom is standing right next to you. You almost bite her but it seems she's on your side.

"Loki, chill out for a minute let's hear them out"

He looks past you and you know mom's not getting through to him. He turns completely to joten form. You're not afraid because you can handle it but you are worried about the others. They can't touch him in this form without getting hurt.

Mom speaks again stepping between the two of you.

"Don't judge him the way people judged you"

He looks at mom and his eyes start to fade back to their usual green but then it seems something comes over him and he shakes his head. His eyes turn back to red and he steps forward.

"Get out of my way"

You snarl and mom inches forward

"I'm warning you"

You're not sure what mom is about to do but you notice Wanda with her hands up glowing red in a warning. Everyone else besides ky (who is just laying there in defeat) is behind you ready to fight to protect ky.

Mom swallows hard.

"Lokes, don't make me do this please"
