75. The choice

A/N: hello, hang in there this chapter is really long, you can call it the 75th chapter special.

Nyle comes back one week after your joten form was blocked. He steps out of the elevator and you run over and hug him.

"Hey little wolf, how are you?"

You bounce on your toes.

"I'm good. You'll never guess what happened while you were gone"

"What happened?"

"I got cold"

He chuckles

"You're always cold, you're half joten remember"

"No that's not what I mean, I felt cold, I woke up shivering and like almost died or whatever"

Nova cuts in

"Yeah it was really scary"

You roll your eyes

"Oh hush Nova we're fine"

Nyle blinks at you.

"You what?"

"I felt cold"

He feels your arm then your forehead

"You're so warm, what caused this? Are you okay?"

You shug

"I have no idea what could've caused it, and yes I'm good"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, quit worrying"

Later that night Kyle and Nyle get into a fight, you're not sure what it's about but you don't particularly like hearing them yell at each other.

You sit with your hands over your ears but it's not enough. You have an idea. You remember stories mom and dad told you about and focus in on one.

You imagine the scene and make a portal. You step through to see younger mom and dad riding raven and Abby. You seem to be standing on air. You step back through the portal marveling at your discovery.

You imagine moms first Asgardian party and make a portal. You magically change to Asgardian clothes and step through the portal. You look around and it's beautiful. People are dancing and music is playing and everything is so elegant.

You see mom sitting on a bar stool but pay her no attention. You're more interested in uncle Thor's little game. Person after person is coming up to mjonir on the table and attempting to lift it. None of them succeed.

The crowd parts for you on your way to mjonir. They point and laugh and make fun of you for thinking you can do it. You smile with confidence as you place a hand on Mjonir and easily lift it. People gasp and start whispering to each other.

You walk up to uncle Thor and hand mjonir to him with a smile.

"Here you go uncle Thor"

Uncle Thor fumbles Mjonir as you hand it to him. He looks at you in total shock.

You giggle at the look on his face and step back into your portal.

When you get back the fight is over but Kyle and Nyle are both tense and you sense something going on between them. You don't particularly enjoy being in the middle of their little whatever so you cancel your plans to go skating with them the next day.

You spend more and more time in the past over the next two weeks. You are the flower girl at moms wedding and you mess with a couple other events but you get particularly close with Doctor strange.
