Roseanne held onto Park Jimin's neck tightly and softly whispered, "Life is truly too unpredictable. There are too many things that, if we don't hold onto it today, we'll find it can no longer be seized tomorrow."

The man pinched her cheek: "At the very least, you won't lose me."

Roseanne did not reply.

In this world, there were too many unexpected forces at work. What she feared the most were the laws that always went against people's expectations; the laws that went against what they hoped for.

Park Jimin could tell that, ever since Roseanne discovered the truth behind her birth, although she appeared unaffected, her heart was actually slightly troubled.

"Trust me. Regardless of how unpredictable life is, I'll always be here."

Roseanne nodded and buried her head deeper into his neck.

Park Jimin lowered his head and kissed her deeply.

University.

During class, Roseanne went to the bathroom.

Park Jimin had been in Uk for more than half a month, and most of his work was over. In several days, he would be returning to South Korea. Although Roseanne was unwilling to part with him, she would be returning soon to Korea as well. It wasn't right for her to keep delaying his work. After all, for her sake, Park Jimin had already maximized the volume of work he could undertake in Uk and expanded the time he could spend here as much as possible.

Precisely because they were about to face separation once more, for the past two nights, Roseanne was almost squeezed dry by Park Jimin. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that she was being embraced to death.

Soo young headed to the bathroom as well. When she saw Roseanne inside, she approached and made a token gesture of washing her hands. She pressed a little soap onto her hands and turned to look at the light blue turtleneck Roseanne was wearing. With a harmless smile, she said: "Roseanne Lin, could it be that you're really friends with Jennie? Previously, the two of you have always been secretive in the dormitory. Recently, I haven't seen Jennie around, and you haven't been coming back to stay for more than half a month. Yuna and I have been missing both of you a lot."

Roseanne glanced at her and unhurriedly raised her hands to the hand dryer. She said indifferently, "It's not surprising that you are suspicious about my relationship with Jennie, but don't make up lies about missing us. Now that we're not around, isn't there more space for you to place your luggage?"

"How would I dare? Don't mention luggage; even when I've only casually tossed a shirt onto your beds, Yuna will nag at me. She insists that both of you haven't been staying recently, but the beds still belong to you. Although you and Jennie aren't at the dormitory, Yuna's eyes are still watching me." Soo young rubbed her hands together and intentionally glanced at Roseanne's shirt. "Uk isn't as cold as South Korea. Why are you wearing a turtleneck shirt here, aren't you cold?"

Roseanne lifted her brows and mocked lightly: "What are you trying to ask about now?"

Toward a small character like Soo young, she did not wish to waste any time beating around the bush. They would be taking separate paths soon. Why was this Soo young always so unhappy with her? She kept looking for trouble when they stayed together, and even when they weren't staying together, she continued to look for trouble. Who knew which of Roseanne's spikes had poked her that she found it itchy if she didn't scratch it. However, the moment she scratched it, she found it painful. She was utterly ridiculous.

Soo young watched Roseanne's typical unperturbed expression. Her exquisite and clear face was completely indifferent.

After washing her hands, Soo young reached for a napkin. While wiping her hands, she said, "Earlier in the classroom, I saw that there was something red on your neck. Before I could get a clear look, it was blocked by your collar. Could it be that you were injured while living outside school? Let me see, is the wound serious?"

As she spoke, Soo young suddenly raised her hand to tug on Roseanne's collar.

Roseanne expressionless blocked her hand. At the same time, the edge of her lips turned up. The curve of her lips was indolent and elegant, causing one to feel cold. She appeared to be suppressing a chuckle as she spoke: "When did you learn to be concerned about me? You even noticed this small mark on my neck and intentionally followed me to the bathroom for a look?"

After hearing her words, Soo young's smile also turned unkind: "Roseanne Lin, you're indeed as guilty as a thief."

Roseanne shoved her hands aside and casually neatened up her clothes. She turned and headed straight for the exit.

Soo young was fuming mad and immediately followed her. Roseanne heard her footsteps but paid her no mind. As she walked, she casually patted the nonexistent dust off of her body.

"No matter how hard you tried to conceal it, you were still discovered. You were looking for an opportunity to cozy up to someone powerful, weren't you? How is it, going behind President Park's wife's back to sleep with her husband? You must be having a good time, aren't you?" Soo young said while leaning closed to Roseanne's ears. From her tone, it was evident that she was jealous but was trying to conceal it. "Recently, are you always with President Park? Has he really taken a liking to you?"

When Roseanne caught on her words, she paused in her footsteps.

She turned back, glancing at Soo young who appeared pleased that she had managed to catch onto Roseanne's weakness.

Roseanne only glanced at her for a moment. She then sneered in disdain and continued heading for Professor Jay's class.

As they approached the classroom, Roseanne unhurriedly began saying, "Someone like you who only believes in her own, foolish heart, and refuses to believe in her own eyes, is truly rare."

Soo young took significant steps to stand before Roseanne and fixed her eyes on her. She raised her voice in agitation: "You're really too hypocritical! That day at the sports hall, if it wasn't for me, would you have had the opportunity to become close to President Park? Right now, I'm asking as an involved party if you went behind my back to seduce President Park! And you still dare to be so self-righteous?"

Seeing Soo young's agitated expression, Roseanne raised her eyes and watched her indifferently: "What were you involved in?"

"That day at the sports hall, you didn't even dare to take the initiative to speak to President Park. If I hadn't mentioned that you were from South Korea, in this lifetime, you most likely wouldn't have had an opportunity to speak with him!" Soo young glared at her. "At the very least, I was someone who connected the two of you. This is how you thank me?"

Roseanne did her best to keep away her expression of looking at an idiot. She calmly watched her. "And so, if I really did sleep with him that night and another nights what will you do about it?"

Soo young opened her eyes wide; her expression was completely dumbstruck.

Hearing and guessing were one thing, but she never expected that Roseanne would actually admit to it so openly!

Roseanne did not pay her any more attention. She entered the class, and after sitting down, she kept the books on the table away.

Soo young followed her in and sat by her side, suppressing her voice to warn her: "Roseanne Lin, President Park is a married man! You're interfering as a third party! Do you still want to keep your face!"

Roseanne kept away the extra notes and books on the table. She then glanced at her: "And so, are you trying to convince me that you are very morally upright, or are you angry at yourself for being one step behind me? What is it? Do you feel that you've managed to grab hold of my weakness? Are you going to try to threaten me?"
