"Mother is it ok if I go meet my friends to practice one more time before the show tomorrow"
"Where is it? What time?"
"Around lunch at (Y/n)'s house" I reply
"Ugh that kid again" she rolls her eyes
"She's the grudgby team captain and an amazing student mother, her grades are almost as good as mine" I try to defend her
"If a degenerate like that is almost as good as you, you clearly aren't working hard enough" she huffs
"No mother that's not what I meant-"
"Then what did you mean?" She looks down on me
"I um" I look down and pull at my clothes
"You can go just make sure you win Mittens, Blights don't bring home second place trophies" she says shooing me away
"Thank you mother" I head back upstairs

"Sooo you going over to your crushes house" Emira pops her head out from around a corner
