I walked out the house that was surrounded by trees almost sealing any light to shed in the woods. The home was isolated and broken down. It reminded me of the shed my old man built for me. He always went by the old rule books where women had no rights and only belonged in the kitchen as men built their legacy, made money to buy land, and use the women to make babies. A boyto carry on what the men has left behind and a girl to grow up to continue the cycle that women were only needed for. I hated my mother for always marrying a man like him. She was a naive and foolish person for ever thinking low of herself. But yet she always sparked my interest with the words that spew out her mouth.
"I am what your father says I am, a worthless women who knows nothing. But to be in a kitchen. Yet I only nod and smile at the man simply because I'm a worthless women who had many chances to kill him. And only by being in he kitchen."That was the last quote my mother implied towards my father. I never knew what she meant by it but I knew deep down my mother was the opposite of worthless. She studied the way my father acted, thus she still accepted her death. "Maybe she was tiered of that life she was living" I always told myself.
I shake my thoughts away as I took one last look at the house. The house where he laid. There alone fast asleep never to be awakened. I couldn't help but notice a harsh feeling in my stomach that arouse some type of panic in me as tears started to form in my eyes as I tried to blink them away. The same signature smile grew onto my face as I started to giggle to myself.
"Look what you did now Wilbur!"
"You killed him, how could you!"
"Oh don't cry now you did it, YOU MONSTER!"
"Hey are you alright, Wilbur" The masked male said his hand placed on top of my shoulders as he tilted his head."Yeah...Forgot to take my medicine again." I said calming down again as I gave him a fake gentile smile. "Oh, ok if you say so Wilbur." He said pulling his hand away from me as he turned around. "Well it was great doing business with you I have to go my separate way now." He said waving at me before disappearing in the trees.
I played with my hair before I started making my way back to Las Nevadas.
The scorching light that heated the sand. Drying up any source of water at bay. Ridding any source of darkness in its site.
I finally reached the casino in Las Nevadas. Opening the entrance I always seen Quackity walk into. A cold dark atmosphere emerging from the dark casino room.
I shivered a bit before stepping inside. The door closing behind me making a creaky sound before slamming shut. I shrugged my shoulders reaching in my pockets and pulling out a lighter.
The light shines enough that I could see the floor and a bit of what's in-front of me.
The red floor that reminded me of his blood. The white walls that resembled his dying skin. Skin so pale and soft that I couldn't help but crave more of it. The diamond chandelier mirrored his tears of pain and sorrow he kept for so long.
"Hey what are you doing in here!?"
My body quickly jolted to the sound of the voice causing a slight pain in my neck.
"Who's there?" I asked seeing a silhouette of a green outline.
"It's me Charlie, dap me up" Charlie said appereaing in front of me almost lighting the room with his slime.
I let out a needed breath my shoulders also dropping at the relief.
"What are you doing in here Charlie?"
"Guarding it until Quackity comes back!" He said in such joy. His eyes glowing at the mention of his friend.
The way his eyes showed such emotions for him I didn't know whether to be filled with hate or guilt.
"So where's Quackity, he told me you too went on a secret mission?" The shorter lad asked with a curious expression. An excitement to see his friend.
"Oh Quackity, he's still caring out the mission...it's going to be a long time before you see him. So he told me to come take care of the Casino while he's gone."
I watched as the other just stared at me the once emotions he had in his eyes now gone. As if they were drained from existence.
"You're Lying!" He said in such a deep venoming tone that would pierce a wound. If his words took the shape of a serpent.
"He told me that he left the Casino to me. As I watch it until he returns. He said it wouldn't take that long."
"I know that's what we thought but things started becoming difficult and he told me to return and give you this note. I didn't open it he said it's only for you and he'll kill me if I opened it."
I said reaching into my coat pulling out a folded envelope. Handing it to the other as he opened and started reading the note.I watched a tears started to form threatening to spill each line he read. Until finally it spilled never stopping. His eyebrows curved, his nose shaded with a bright red.
His breath hitching as his body shivered.
Carefully folding the note as he wiped the falling tears off his face. He stared at me before smiling.
I need some time to think please take care of the Casino while I'm gone. He said clenching the envelope before walking away.
I watched as he left the Casino as Joy filled me. I wanted to laugh but for some reason I couldn't. All I did was smile. The same sinful smile I gave as I watched life drain from his eyes.
