Y/n's POV:

I stood there outside of the forest under the moon.

I remember myself, I was freed from muzan kibutsuji's curse/control. Lots of memories came back to me. Me eating and killing humans...

Yes, I'm a demon...

I felt tears falling from my eyes, I felt bad doing those.

I sobbed and sobbed quietly, I waited for the sun to rise up. To end my life, to take me to hell.

Tanjiro's POV:

I was sent to a mission to Mt.kumotori....My hometown..

It wasn't snowing here anymore, yet it was midnight.

I smell blood..

I followed the smell of a blood, trailing me to.....the village?!

The village was full of blood.. and broken houses with lifeless corpses laying down dead..

How could a cruel demon would do such a thing!

I don't smell any demon here..at the village at all.

I ran to the village, to the house where y/n lives, she was not here, but a lot of blood was splattered everywhere......no...

I was too late...yet, the sun was about to rise..

I'm finding whoever killed the people here especially y/n....

Y/n, the sweet girl I fell in love with.. she was very kind to me and my family....but now she's gone..

I could feel tears about to come out of my eyes..

The demon isn't even in the village..

I ran to the forest as I started to smell a demon scent.

A smell that is similar to muzan and y/n..!

I don't see any demons in the forest..im almost reaching the outside of the forest.

I ran as fast as I can, I heard a quiet sobs...

I finally reached outside of the forest. I saw a female h/c haired demon covering her face and was sobbing..

Huh..?

I walked closer holding the hilt of my niriichin blade.

The demon heard the sound of a sword, she quickly looked behind.

That beautiful e/c eyes has tears..

My heart shattered to who I saw...

Y/n...became a demon..

I stopped my tracks and look at her shock with tears willing to fall.

"Y-y/n..?" I said shock and sad.

"T-tanjiro?" Y/n looked shock as even more tears fall from her e/c eyes. She looked down to my niriichin.

"You became a demon slayer?" She asked through her sobs. She looked back up to me.

"If so...please end me already..." she said interwhining her hands together. That made my heart break even more.

"I-i became a-a de-demon...and I k-killed the village.." she said.

"W-wait no...we can cure you! I know you didn't mean to...kill the village..." I said trying to stop her. Tears fell from my eyes.

"C-cure? How are y-you gonna do that?" She said asking.

"I can find a way!" I said.

"Just kill me already, tanjiro..I killed those innocent people.." she said looking down.

"Y/n..." I said as more tears fell from my eyes.

In my blurry vision due to the tears, I saw that the sun was now rising up behind the mountains. My eyes widened to that, the sun was reaching y/n.

"Goodbye, tanjiro, it was nice to see you again..." she said as she started to fade in ashes, slowly.

"N-no! Y/n!" I shouted as I rushed to her trying to cover her.

"I love you.." she said her last words as she fades away.

"No..." I said as I cried harder.

I cried and cried.

The 'demon' I love is gone...

I love you too....y/n...I'm sorry..

After that, I went back to the butterfly estate, sitting on the hospital bed, still crying. Nezuko was beside me, trying to comfort me. Yet, Nezuko is also upset about y/n's death, she even cried about it.

The people on the butterfly estate watched concern along with my two friends, zenitsu and inosuke.
