3rd person POV:
Footsteps trailed down on the soft yet cold pile of snow that covered the ground.
Tiny Snowflakes were around the area, slowly flowing down to touch the pile of snow.
A running figure rushed in a great speed behind the trees.
The figure let out a breathe causing the air the figure let out form a visible cloud like a fog, it didn't last long since the Man who was the figure sped up his pace on his running.
His spiky black and tied hair shown along with his Two-Design Haori jumping into the movement of the Man but stayed on him.
The Man's dark ocean looking bored eyes soon revealed.
Suddenly a sound of a pierce yet distinctive swing was heard. Stopped the Man's tracks, digging his feet to the pile of snow to force to stop his movement.
He became aware, looking around for any signs of destined demon he was called to kill.
The falling snowflakes then started to go wild, it was getting hard to see through the snow.
The Man gritted his teeth while he held onto the hilt of his sword that was attached to his belt.
Why such events?!
Getting ready for any attack in different directions where he stood, he look around being fully aware of his surroundings.
The wind along with the snow continued to go in random directions.
The man known as Giyuu Tomioka, looked around until, something caught his eye. Not the snow around the area, nor the trees or the demon he was looking for. Instead it was a human.
Taking the short time to observe..
A silk H/l H/c hair blowing through the wind, an a H/d(Haori design) was barely seen through the wind of snow.
Giyuu's Dark Ocean eyes widened as he flinched before frozing on his feet, His heart almost stopped to the sight.
Then a S/c hand of the person slid through the H/c hair, getting off the snow that fell on top of it.
Giyuu couldn't believe it, he really couldn't believe it at all.
His face turned into a disbelief expression, his heart ached to the recollection. Even His breathing hitched.
Then, The person who's Giyuu stared at turned her head to the side, able to show her face. That shining E/c "Eyes" yet blank eyes stared back to Giyuu.
That was....Y/n L/n. Giyuu's Childhood best friend.
The one that was assumed that had also died, During in the Final Selection.
Giyuu felt hurt on the inside, is he imagining things?
Even so, The two continued to stare at one another.
Then, Giyuu noticed something different on Y/n.
It wasn't the growth or the matured features but her other eye.
The other E/c eye she used to have was gone, left to be blurred in white. The previous eye condition can still barely seen through it but it could be hard to see.
Even the bright smile she used to give everytime he was on sight was gone.
Giyuu had a lot of questions in his mind, he wished that there was someone who could answer all his questions.
He wanted to speak but no words came out.
so Then, Y/n turned to face her back to Giyuu once again....
And that's where they will never see again.
The wind snow went back being windy and got a little hard to see through the snow.

Known as Y/n's Mission, to kill a demon under the snow which she already finished as soon as Giyuu arrived.
