I read the demon slayer wiki that he's 13(when alive).

He's a little different than the rough attitude he had with tanjiro.

"Sabito you're scaring Y/n!" Makomo scolded the latter who's puffing his cheeks while his arms crossed.

"I'm just helping her face her fears okay?" Sabito defended.

"That's nice but it's still not okay!" Makomo retorted before their trainer interrupted.

"Giyu told me you guys are fighting, explain!" Urokodaki said as he crossed his arms while looking down to his students.

"What? What a snitch!" Sabito muttered.

"Sabito's making Y/n face her fears, she's crying by the waterfall." Makomo explained the situation while pointing at Sabito who's been taken aback considering she snitched on him.

"Makomo!" Sabito yelled after her response.

"Sabito, Go apologize to Y/n, and also tell her to get back before the sun goes down." Urokodaki lectured Sabito who sulked in defeated.

"Yes..." He said as he went to the forest to find You.

He was lost at first, not knowing where you are, until he remember Makomo mentioning you at the waterfall.

He knows where that is as he immediately went over there.

While on the way, he started thinking about what Makomo said.

Maybe you don't have to face your fears... plus he was probably been harsh and forcing towards you.

Jeez, he has to apologize right away.

Calling out your name will not probably get a response especially when he's the one calling you.

Soon Sabito reached the ground point where the waterfall is located, he looked around when his first arrival didn't spot you anywhere.

He walked a little closer to get better sight to the surroundings, and you are still no where to be found.

Where are You? He was getting concerned.

Did you went deeper in the forest? Now he's getting worried for you.

Before he could go into darkest doubts, he remember one of his memories with you at the waterfall.

Sabito quickly rushed forward and went to climb up where the water falls.

And there you are..

You didn't know he is here as you continue to plucking the petals of the flower you are holding, it was something you would do to calm yourself.

Sabito went to quietly sit next to you but then he stepped on a twig which cause a snapping sounnd that is loud enough to catch your attention.

You quickly whipped your head towards the sound as you saw him.
Great, is he hear to scare you again?

The boy awkwardly stood up straight before nervously looking anywhere but you.

You sighed, "What do you want, Sabito?" You asked placing down the flower you were holding.

"Hey I'm not here to do those schemes on you again, okay!" Sabito pouted which surprised you but then you let out a laugh, making him pout even more.

"Makomo scolded you to do that did You?" You gesture him to sit next to you as he did so.

"Well close enough, I just wanna say sorry." He said as he look over to you, only to see your face looking all red.

"Too close..." You whispered but he didn't seem to hear it.

"What?" He asked, questioning what you just said and why are you red.

You just quickly avert your eyes from him and put your attention back to the flowers.

"Anyway, apology accepted! No more scaring me okay!" You shouted in order to get yourself away from embarrassment.

Leaving the boy next to you smiling softly to your apology accepted.
