WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE

Cindy Moon had decided to take up her parents job advice and started to work with them in cross species genetics. They were having interns that day, so they were going to get everything ready for when they arrived. When the interns got there. Her and Gwen were told to give them a tour of the facility. They did as they were told, showing them all sorts of things. And then they saw Doctor Conners coming towards them

"Good afternoon Gwen and Cindy" He said with a smile as usual when Cindy saw him. She gave him a nod

"Doctor Conners" Gwen said with a smile

"Welcome. My name is Doctor Kurtis Conners, and yes in case your wondering. I am a southpaw" He said with a light chuckle. Everyone laughed at his joke. He was always able to get a good laugh out of people

"I'm not a cripple, I'm a scientist. I'm the worlds foremost authority on herpetology. That's, Reptiles. For those of you who don't know of course. But like the Parkinson's patient, who watches in horror as her body slowly betrays her, or the man with macular degeneration who's eyes grow, dimmer each day. I long to fix myself" He says. Cindy had heard all of these people before because it was the first thing he told her to look up so they could see why they were doing what they did there.

"I wanna create a world without weakness. Anyone care to venture or guess just how?" He asks. A boy at the front puts his hand up immediately

"Stem cells" He asks

"Promising, but the solution I'm thinking of is more. Radical" He pauses for a moment, waiting for an answer and was clearly disappointed

"No one" He asks disappointed

"Cross species genetics" Someone in the crowd answers. Everyone steps aside to reveal Peter Parker. Me and Gwen look at each other and are very confused as I look at who was meant to be at the internship and can't find Peter on it

"Person gets Parkinson's when the brain cells that produce dopamine start to disappear. But zebrafish has the ability to regenerate cells on command" Peter finishes. I mouth to Gwen 'what's he doing here' and she mouths back to me 'I don't know'. We start to panic

"If you could somehow give this ability to the woman your talking about. that's that, she's. She's curing herself" He says

"Yeah, you just have to look past the gills on her neck" Someone says. Everyone laughs at his comment

"And you are" Doctor Conner's asks Peter

"Uh. He- uh- He" I stutter with a panic in my eyes. Gwen obviously sees this and finishes for me

"Uhh, he's one of midtowns best and brightest. He's second in his class" She finishes with a smirk

"Second?" Peter asks

"Yeah" Gwen answers

"You sure about that" He asks again

"Yeah, pretty sure" She confirms with a smug grin. Doctor Conner's' phone starts ringing

CINDYS POV

"Uh. Duty calls, I'll leave you all in the hands of these beautiful young ladies. Nice meeting you all" he says before he leaves. I go up to Peter and Gwen takes everyone else to the holographic designs of the spiders

"Hi. What are you doin here Pete?" I ask him with a concerned tone

"I'm here because. I love science" He responds. 'Yeah, and I have a crush on flash thompson' She thinks sarcastically

"Don't get us in trouble" I say as I run over to Gwen

"I'm gonna keep an eye on Pete because I think he's up to something" I tell her while pointing at Peter who just bumped into someone. He started looking at a file. And then followed the man to a room. Peter was somehow able to access it and so I had to follow him. I entered the room with the same code as Peter did and saw him enter a room with ton's of spiders. 'Weird. why do we spiders back here if all our testing is done out front' I think. I go into the room, but a bunch of Spiders start falling when Peter touches a web strand. Lot's of them start falling on me, I shake them off but my neck starts to feel itchy. I get out of the room and see Peter come out later. He stands there shocked when he sees me

"Yeah. Your screwed" I say

"Let me explain. I can exp-

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE. I TOLD YOU DONT GET US IN TROUBLE AND THE FIRST THING YOU DO IS RUN OFF" I yell at him

"My dad was Richard Parker and the symbol outside this room is the same symbol on my dads briefcase documents. I followed someone with the same symbol on his documents and it led me here" He said. I was pissed to say the least. So I dragged him out of the room and we ran into Gwen. For some reason my leg was tingling and it was really annoying, so I shook my pants and found a dead spider at my foot. Peter had to give up his fake intern badge. When Gwen started to walk away I grabbed him by the ear. He let out a yell. I wasn't that tough, was I. I saw him grab at the back of his neck. Nope, definitely wasn't. I felt a massive sting on my ankle and I grabbed at it. I saw a spider there and my ankle started to swell up. Peter had picked at what was on his neck. It looked like a spider web. 'What is happening today'. I asked myself
