They are spirits that take animal forms and talk to other non-human species. They are ancient, and have been around since the first Mekahuman.
There are seven of them, who take the forms of a wolf, a falcon, a dragon, a mountain goat, a deer, a dolphin, and a jaguar.
They help guide spiritshifters to their forms and have a close relationship to that species. They give warnings to non-humans species who are in danger.
They also try to keep the non-human world from being discovered by humans.
