Mikey, Gerard and I slowly sneaked in the building where Ray was sleeping on the couch. Brendon wanted to come with us but Didi had told him it was the best to put some ice on his head and get some rest.

Since he was the only one here, Ray's snoring was the only sound echoing. "Do I really have to do this?" I groaned, Mikey handing me a pair of scissors and a shaver. Both Mikey and Gerard nodded, the smirk on Gee's face only growing. Mikey kept his usual pokerface.

"But-"

"Don't try to argue with us. You shot the furthest from the heart, so you shave off his afro." Gerard spoke, placing a hand on his hip. I groaned louder.

I turned on the shaver and began shaving off bits off Ray's hair. "C'mon don't be shy. Just shave off the whole thing." Mikey said.

It's been a few hours since I've shaved off that afro of Ray and I still feel guilty as fuck. But we were having dinner now. I should push those guilty feelings aside. It happened. It be so.

"Eat your food Frankie." Frankie. I somewhat loved the nickname, yet it felt weird. It felt different. Usually I'd get uncomfortable hearing anyone say that, yet it leaving Gerard's lips, it felt comforting.

I nodded, playing a bit with my food before eating. "Push those thoughts aside. Ray might l-"

The door slammed open, a bald headed man standing in the opening. "WHO DID THIS!?" His face was red, the red going all the way up the now bald head of his. I stayed completely silent, sinking in my seat.

Pete and Didi both got up from their seats, trying to calm Ray down. "Ray please stay calm. I'm sure whoever did this, didn't mean to." Yeah, cause everyone shaves of an afro by accident..

The attempt to calm him down wasn't really working. Ray kicked over a chair, not even making him wince a slightest bit. I've never been more afraid for someone before. He was furious. "SPEAK UP WHOEV-"

A tall tattooed man than ran into the room. Carlile. "There is no time to discus that hair of yours right now Toro. There are more important things going on at this very moment." I arched an eyebrow, not quite knowing what he was talking about. "Terrors in California, Fresno. They made The Purge: Anarchy reality. We need to go there right fucking now." He all spoke in one breath.

"With what team? All soldiers are in Europe for special trainings right now. We've got no one to go there and just the three of us will not end up too well." Pete responded, clearly meaning he thought he, Didi and Austin were the only was being capable of that. But who am I to argue. They had more experience after all.

Austin looked at all of us in silence for a few seconds. "Get them ready. Cars are outside." Turning around, he left the room.

"They are not ready yet!" Didi yelled.

"Then get them ready!"
