Berlin, September 9th

My sleeping quarter is inside the Pergamon, right in front of the Ishtar Gate. I wander around, examining all that ancient shit, and I can't stop thinking that everything in this Earth has an ending. All the Empires and civilizations have met their fate, destroyed by their enemies, by natural catastrophes, by plagues, by wars, by revolutions, by decay.
That's exactly what we are watching right now.
The end.
