"You seem awfully piped up today. What's up?," Yang asked Ruby. "No more small talks. Today, my beautiful Crescent Rose does all the talking for me," Ruby opens her locker and pulls out her scythe. "Ookay. Well remember that if you wanna grow up, you gotta learn to work with other people," Yang reminded. "Ughhhhh! You sound like Dad! Plus, I don't need to be in a team to grow up cuz I drink milk," Ruby smirked. "Yeah? What about when we do form teams?," Yang combed her yellow hair. "I uh...will be on your team," Ruby replied. "Then let Beacon be the first to put you on a different team with new people," Yang spoke. "What are you...implying?," Ruby asked. "Maybe break out of your comfort zone," Yang answered. "What?! You don't wanna be on a team with me? That's hurtful! Even if we're not in a team, I'm better off without one! A team'll just hold me back. Last thing I want is to be a failure. Part of a bad batch," Ruby continued. "Ya know....my brother said that once," a voice replied. Yang and Ruby peeked in the next row of lockers to see Fives putting his chest armor on.

"So uh, Ms Nikos. Have you chosen a partner yet?," Weiss asked. "Please, just call me Pyrrha and unfortunately not yet," Pyrrha answered, taking her shield out. "Perhaps we could be in a team together," Weiss began. "That sounds lovely," Pyrrha gave a smile. "Perhaps I could join too?," Jaune interrupted. "Oh. It's you," Weiss sighed. "Why hello there Snow Angel," Jaune bowed. Weiss scoffed while Pyrrha chuckled. "You honestly think you can pair up with the Pyrrha Nikos? Do you even know who she is?," Weiss asked. "Hello again!," Pyrrha smiled and waved at Jaune. "Should I be aware?," Jaune asked. "The 4th time champion of Sanctum Academy and Pride of Mistral," Weiss gloated. "The who?," Jaune asked. "Ugh. The face of Pumpkin Peach's Marshmallow Crunch!," Weiss pouted. "Oh right," Jaune spoke. "Terrible sorry for lack of proper introduction. I an Jaune Arc," Jaune extended his hand for Pyrrha to shake. Pyrrha was taken aback as she was usually objectified. "I'm Pyrrha Nikos," Pyrrha smiled and shook his hand. "I think you will make a great leader," Pyrrha replied. "R...really?," Jaune was taken aback. "Wait...what?," Weiss asked. "Well how the mighty tables have turned on you, princess. Perhaps I could pull some strings or ask for a few favors?," Jaune turns around at Weiss. "Pyrrha. Help," Weiss began. "Come on Jaune," Pyrrha takes his hand and yanks him away from Weiss.

"Oh really? Was he a cool dude with a cool gun?," Ruby asked. "Heh! You could say that," Fives chuckled. "See? Even Fives says it wouldn't hurt," Yang answered. "I still stand by what I said," Ruby replied. "Ya know. Having a team isn't so bad. Sure they'll fight but they'll always be there," Fives continued. "Aren't you the same person who believed we couldn't be a four member team?," Ruby asked. "Well, think of this as a chance to prove me wrong," Fives chuckled. "See? Having a team's not so bad," Yang smiled. "And a chance to prove to your sister that you are growing up. Or prove Ozpin wrong," Fives smirked. "Are you saying I'm not?," Ruby pouts. Fives laughed. "I doubt drinking milk increases your maturity at a dramatic pace," Fives smirked. "Hey!," Ruby pouts again. Yang began laughing. "Hey don't be laughin! You ain't mature either," Fives reminded Yang. "Oh yeah?," Yang asked. "Am I wrong? Cuz that cartoonish fight last night said otherwise," Fives chuckled. "Damn. That's true," Yang cursed. "W...well I was being mature! A mature kid! Yeah!," she bragged. "Alright Miss "I was being mature". Let's get you and Miss "Plus, I don't need to be in a team to grow up cuz I drink milk" to the Professors at Beacon cliff," Fives chuckled. "Why did ya have to call me that?," Ruby whined. "Yeah!," Yang also whined. "Sorry girls, I say it how it is," Fives winked before holding the door open. "Ugh, kids," Weiss snorted. "Hey! Show some respect! They might be on your team!," Fives replied. "Oh sure! Paired up with jokster, kindergartner, and emo," Weiss rolls her eyes. "And you're any better?," Fives asked. "What's that supposed to mean?! What abilities do I lack?!," Weiss hissed. "Your ability to respect others for one," Fives reminded. "Ah! H-Hey!," Weiss growled. "You had it coming," Blake strolled by Weiss.

All of the 12 students were now at the cliff, each individual standing on a gray platform. "For years, you have trained to be the best you can. You believe Beacon to be the end of the journey. But I can assure you that Beacon isn't. Beacon is the beginning for you all," Ozpin replied. "Each of you will be partnered up with another member. The two individuals will then seek out another pair, thus concluding your team, making them whole. You will remain partnered up for a total of 4 years," Glynda replied. Ruby's mind exploded from the revelation. She whined. "Once you've landed and paired up, you will make your way to the northern end of the forest. A temple awaits you there. You will retrieve the relics and bring them back here. There will be oppositions along the way and back so I trust you to destroy said opposition or you will die," Ozpin replied. "No pressure," Yang whispered to Ruby. "Now prepare yourselves," Ozpin answered. One by one the students were catapulted into the air. "Good luck," Weiss told Pyrrha. "Likewise," Pyrrha smiled before Weiss was catapulted, Pyrrha, Nora and Lie Ren followed. "S...sir...are we equipped with paraCHUUUUTE!...," Jaune asked and was catapulted, screaming as he was thrown. "Nope. No you were not equipped with parachuted," Fives chuckled. Blake, Yang and Ruby were finally catapulted.

"I don't care what that transcript said. That Jaune fellow is not ready for something like this," Glynda replied. "I think it's been faked," Fives answered. "Faked? Then why aren't we pulling him out now?," Glynda asked. "Well Ozpin did pull Ruby into Beacon two years early from graduation in Signal," Fives reminded. "And you did give me and Ahsoka Tano huntsmen and huntresses licenses after our first mission," he continued. "So what do you suggest we do? We can't simply allow forgery," Glynda asked. "Let's give Jaune a chance. After all, he wanted to go to Beacon. Perhaps training in Beacon can help his combat skills," Fives answered. "You can't honestly pass this up," Glynda bickered. "I can. Because I was in the same position. I had a team called Domino Squad. We had a hard time passing and technically, we should've been restricted to maintenance but General Shaak Ti, the overseer of the cloning, gave us one last chance to prove ourselves. Let's give Jaune a chance to prove himself," Fives replied. "Well, if you came out extremely skilled as Ahsoka said, then I suppose we can give Jaune a chance," Glynda continued. "What was the artifacts you used again?," she asked Fives. "Uh...I think it was Ozpin this time," Fives replied. Ozpin didn't answer. "Professor?," Glynda asked. "I'm betting it's chess pieces again," Fives answered. Ozpin's gaze was focused on his scroll tabloid. The live feed was showing a Ruby on the floor, a bit annoyed, from Weiss's talking. Ozpin squinted closer. It reminded him of Summer, sitting on the floor while Raven was pacing around, pointing and dubbing random path to be the right direction.
