"That supposed to hurt?," Fives asked, unfazed. "Well...yeah!," Cardin replied, lowering his fist. "If you're done fooling around...," Fives grabs Cardin's ear. "Ow! Hey! Let go!," Cardin moaned. "Nope. Seeing as Velvet had asked you to let go and you didn't, I won't," Fives continued, beginning to drag Cardin. "You gonna play nice with everyone?," Fives asked. "Y....Yes," Cardin replied. "And now, how about you apologize to Jaune?," Fives tossed him towards Jaune. Cardin groaned. "Go on. Say it," Fives replied. "S...sorry Jaune," Cardin replied. "For?," Fives continued. "For?," Cardin asked Fives, confused. "Jaune, why don't you remind him?," Fives asked. "For making my shield stuck in the doorframe, knocking my books on the floor, shoving me into the school locked and sending me flying to the backyard," Jaune replied. "I'm sorry for doing all those things," Cardin moaned. "You gonna do it again?," Fives asked him. "No," Cardin pouted. "Good. Now, I want you to apologize to Velvet and report yourself to Oobleck for detention," Fives replied. "But...!," Cardin began. His teammates snickered. "Oh and that goes for all of you," Fives points to his team," But...!," they all whined. "No complaints," Fives replied. "Well...we ain't going!," Cardin smirked at one last attempt. "You don't want to go?," Fives asked. "You heard us!," Cardin widened his grin. "Okay....R7. Show them the way," Fives replied. "Huh?," one of the teammates looked as R7 rolled up. Then, R7 sent an electric shock to Cardin. "Hey!," Cardin whined. R7 inches forward with her arm taser sparking up like mad. "Okay okay!," he muttered, getting up and heading towards the medical wing, with his teammates behind him followed by R7's laughter via strings of beeps. "Aww yeah, R7! Bringing on the sass!," Yang hollered before Blake smacks her stomach. "Hey!," Yang grunted. "Sit down before you embarrass yourself," Blake replied. Yang eventually sat down. Pyrrha looked at Jaune, which also caught Yang's attention as she too turned around to look at Jaune. Jaune got up and three his trash in the trash can, observing Cardin being zapped and his face looking rather disappointed before leaving. Pyrrha noticed this and tagged along after him. Fives heard the trailing footsteps and turned to see the two leaving. "What's bothering him?," Yang asked Blake. "Hmm? No idea," Blake answered as she resumed to reading her book.
Professor Ozpin showed up next to Fives. "Sadly, this bullying will not be the last," Ozpin continued. "In a shroud of obstacles, you're right," Fives nodded. "One of many to overcome," Ozpin agreed. "What do you suppose will bring Jaune the motivation to be more confident?," he asked Fives. "Through hard experience," Fives answered. "What makes you say that?," Ozpin asked. Yang gained interest and even glances up, as if to look at the ceiling. "Ruby learned from hard experience and listened. Jaune however, has listened but is either ignoring or something else. Either way, Jaune can only learn how to be confident through experience," Fives replied. "Glynda's been nagging about how Jaune was allowed in," Ozpin chuckled. "Did you tell her you let Ruby skip two grades just to be in this academy?," Fives chuckled. "Oh yes. She could not find an answer or a reason to argue," Ozpin smirked. "Regardless, Jaune will be tested by his past and it'll determine his future," he continued. "Yep. But I have hope for him," Fives nodded. Pyrrha got up. "Come with me," Pyrrha told Jane. Jaune barely had time to relax when Pyrrha drags him.
Moments later, they were standing on the rooftops. The sun setting down. "Pyrrha, I'm depressed but not to this level," Jaune looks over the edge. "What? No!," Pyrrha takes him off the edge. "Then why are we here?," Jaune asked. "Well.....seeing you being picked by Cardin is getting under my nerves. Even in training. So I thought that we could train here," Pyrrha replied. "Here?," Jaune asked, perplexed. "Yeah. There's plenty of room and no one'll bother us," Pyrrha nodded. "Thanks Pyrrha but I'm fine! Really. Besides, Professor Fives already took care of Cardin," Jaune replied. "That won't exonerate you. Spare you even less," Pyrrha continued. "Problem solved though," Jaune replied. "Jaune. I know you're trying to act confident but it doesn't mean you have to let this bullying continue by simply ignoring," Pyrrha spoke. "Cardin's a big bully. Besides, fighting back doesn't help. It just means I'm a coward," Jaune continued. "This isn't about me helping. Isn't it?," Pyrrha asked. "I just....I don't want to be the damsel on distress like in the books! Thanks for the help but.....I think I can manage on my own," Jaune walked past Pyrrha, leaving her alone on the rooftops.
"They're almost gone," Ruby looked at Weiss's back. "Oh good! I don't need to have ugly scars," Weiss sighed as she zipped up her pajamas. "Did you figure that out before or after you got that scar across your eye?," Yang smirked. "Quiet you," hissed Weiss. "As funny as it was meant to be. That was annoying," Blake looks up from her book. "It too was funny," Yang smirked. "Haha," Blake sarcastically remarked, rolling her eyes. "You should smile at some point," Yang nudged. "Yang, Blake never smiles. Don't expect her to," Weiss replied. "Didn't Blake smile once or twice?," Ruby asked. "That doesn't make her situation any better," Weiss replied. "That does it. I, Yang Xiao Long, declare to make a challenge," Yang announced. "What would that be?," Weiss asked. "I take upon the challenge and dare to make Blake smile or laugh," Yang announced. "Good luck with that," Blake rolls her eyes. "Go Yang!," Ruby smiled. "As childish as that seems. It would not hurt to see you smile. So...I support Yang," Weiss replied. "Challenge accepted," Blake huffed in clear annoyance.
"Speaking of scars, do you still feel it? The pain?," Ruby asked Weiss. "Well....yeah. Not like severely. It feels more like....like I've slept on the floor," Weiss replied. "That must suck for Professor Fives," Ruby replied. "Huh?," Weiss asked. "Didn't you hear Ozpin? Fives went through that several times. Something about PTSD...," Ruby continued. "That must....suck," Yang replied. "Anyways, I'm gonna shower," Yang replied.
Whistling, Yang turns the water to a nice room temperature warmth. She got undresses when she dropped her wallet, spilling its' contents on the floor. "Gosh darn it," Yang muttered snd quickly picked the lien and other contents up. The last item she picked up was a picture of Tai, herself and Raven. Yang's face turned one of distress and expressions of questions. She remembered asking every bartender about the whereabouts of her mother, to no avail. She even asked Ozpin. Ozpin couldn't answer himself as he felt Yang wasn't old enough to know, which was a bit ironic seeing as he accepted Yang into Beacon Academy, the hardest Academy to get into. Then it hit her. She could've sworn she saw a holographic picture of Raven recently. She couldn't remember where though.
