"How is she?," Raven asked. "Who?," Fives sighed. "You know," Raven sneered. "Since when was it in your best interest to ask her status?," Fives looked at her. "I just want to know," Raven continued. "And for what reason?," Fives asked, taking a sip. "She is my daughter," Raven replied. "And for that, you neglect the fact you abandoned her after one year of her being born?," Fives continued. "The tribe is my real family," Raven announced. "And yet here we are, you asking of Yang. As if we should ignore you abandoning your own family," Fives reminded. "Like I said, she's my daughter," Raven replied. "You have a very skewed perception of the word family," Fives shot back. Raven glares at Fives. "Oh please, enough with the glare," Fives rolls his eyes. "Did you know that ever since Whitehood died, Taiyang still had school so Yang had to raise Ruby by herself?," Fives looks up at her. "That's my kid. Strong and will do what it takes to survive," Raven smirked. "You misunderstood Yang's perseverance to be a justification of survival through horrific actions," Fives chuckled. "Maybe that perseverance will be enough to find and join my tribe," Raven replied. "See? Here's where your bullheadedness/stubbornness takes over. You don't see the fact that you left Yang and that Yang wants nothing to do with you," Fives answered. "And how would you know?," Raven glared. "Oh yeah, a daughter, clearly angered and frustrated that her biological mom left her, wants and needs to join a bunch of killers and thieves," Fives sarcastically replied, finishing the shot. "As you said, she's strong-willed," Raven reminded. "I did say that but she also knows better that to join you and a bunch of scumbags," Fives stood up and began to leave. "Tai coddles her too much," Raven hollers. "And you don't coddle her at all," Fives replied. He stopped before the stairs, sighing. He glances at Raven. "Yang's doing great. Best student in my class and always with a damn smile," Fives answered. "And why would you tell me this when you question me over asking about her?," Raven asked. Fives gripped the railing. "Because like it or not, even though you abandoned her, you're still her biological mother so you do have some rights to know of Yang's status," Fives looks at Raven before descending down the stairs.
"How do you feel?," Yang asked Weiss, munching on an apple. "Better. Although....my hip's a bit stiff," Weiss groaned, bending backwards only to bend upright after feeling a sharp jolt of pain. "What did you see? In that Nightmare grimm?," Jaune asked. "I remember seeing an older version of myself. But I looked older....and was wearing an Atlas military officer uniform," Weiss answered, drinking milk. "It sounds more like a premonition rather than a nightmare," Pyrrha interjected. "Exactly. It was even showing me visions of people being hurt. My older self kept telling me I will never forgive the faunus," Weiss sighed. "Is that what it felt like? Depressive?," Lie Ren asked. "Um....it's hard to describe it because it felt so real and yet, I knew I was inside my own head. It's like I can see what's happening but I can't control my body to express any body languages," Weiss replied. "Sheesh. Hence the name Nightmare," Jaune answered. "I don't remember much. Only that I blacked out and woke up," Weiss replied. "The Nightmare was poolnetted. Witch style!," Nora smirked. "Nora. Ms Shion is a huntress. Not a witch," Lie Ren replied. "She dresses like a witch," Nora muttered. "The Nightmare Grimm also tried to control Professor Fives," Ruby replied. "I think he prefers we just call him Fives," Blake looked from The Man with Two Souls book.
"Is he okay?," Weiss asked. "Yeah. He's fine but he looked a bit....agitated. Like something big set him off," Yang replied. "He said something along the lines like soldiers and follow orders," she continued. "I wonder what he meant by that. Wanna ask him myself," Jaune replied. "I wouldn't bother him about it. He did say twice that he doesn't want to answer," Lie Ren reminded. "It seemed strange but did anyone felt...I don't know....cold after the Grimm flew out of Fives?," Ruby asked. "And those markings along his back," Yang added. "Professor Ozpin did mention that Fives went through something unbearable," Lie Ren continued. "Not actually his words," Nora whispered. "Nora. I'm nutshelling it," Lie Ren sighed. "Speaking of which, has anyone seen Fives? He's been gone up until lunch right now?," Ruby asked. Her answers were all met with no's. "Stop it. Let go," a girl's voice could be heard. Team RWBY and JNPR turned to see Cardin, pulling on a second year student, Velvet's ear. "Told ya guys they were real," Cardin laughed while Velvet was crying out in pain.
"Atrocious," Pyrrha simmered in frustration. "Disgraceful," Yang growled. "Disgusting," hissed Weiss. "Despicable," Blake closes her book as all three girls glared at Cardin and his team. Velvet got free and ran headlong into Fives. "Woah, what happened Velvet?," Fives asked. "Them," the rabbit girl points to Cardin's team. "Get yourself looked over. I'll take care of these guys," Fives replied. "Come on," Coco helped Velvet to the nurse's wing. Fives approached Cardin's team. "Is this a game to you guys?," Fives looks at Cardin and his team. All stopped laughing. "IT's definitely funny," one of the team members laughed, sending a chorus of laughter. "We should've just pin the tail on the donkey," another laughed. Cardin was laughing the loudest when he felt a smack. "Hey!," Cardin growled. "The next time I see a snarky remark or anymore bullying will not happen. Got it?," Fives looked down at Cardin. Cardin whimpered a bit before his bullheadedness got the best. A loud punch was then thrown by Cardin and connected with Fives's cheek.
