The slight vibration alerted a 10:00 AM conversation between Ozpin, Glynda, and Fives. "A flare for dramatics," Fives gestured to behind Ozpin. Opzin and Glynda shifted their focus to an Airship landing. The capital ship had three big guns with triple barreled calibr while the two others were looking like they were smaller versions of the turrets. "He certainly likes to bring his work around," Glynda sighed. "Understatement of the century. Quite the eyesore," Fives corrected. "The General has a harder task but yes, the ships are a bit of an eyesore," Ozpin agreed, sipping on his tea. "At least this one's different from the other ships," Glynda replied. "Yeah, it the new flagship. The Assurance. She's the lead class, with state of the art weaponry and Three Beam Cannon," Fives answered. "What in Remnant would he want three cannons?," Glynda asked. "You know the General, he's the type to roll with style," Fives rolls his eyes.
"Speaking of style, you should wear your armor," Ozpin replied. "With respect sir, my armor is a reminder of what I became," Fives answered bleakly. "You mean before you came to this planet?," Glynda asked. "Yes," Fives nodded. "That was hardly your fault. You were mind controlled," Ozpin reminded. "But there's no denying that I became the very enemy I swore to destroy," Fives replied. "Captain. Your past is the past. It will always come back to memory but you shouldn't distinguish yourself from your armor," Ozpin noted. "My armor is what nearly killed her," Fives reminded. "And yet, you kept it around. So surely you must have some reason to have kept it for so long. Surely you have some good memories of your time in the armor," Ozpin noted, leaving Fives in deep thought. The doors behind them opened and Ironwood strolled into the office. "Ozpin! It's been too long!," James came strolling in, arms open. "Indeed it has. Though the new flagship and the fleet outside the window is something interesting," Ozpin hugged him and the two let go. "And Glynda. Been a while, hasn't it?," Ironwood smiled. "Flattery," Glynda rolls her eyes. "I'll be outside," she replied before exiting the office. "Well she hasn't change much," Ironwood chuckled. "That depends on if it's for the better or not," Fives corrected. "Now you have certainly changed," Ironwood chuckled the two hugged each other. "Likewise," Fives nodded as they let go. "So do tell me what brings you and your fleet to my kingdom?," Ozpin asked as he sat down. "Can't friends have some quality time?," Ironwood joked. "I'd be laughing if the small fleet and the flagship wasn't here," Fives answered." Quite right. Which brings me back to my original point in question," Ozpin replied. "Well you know I love Vale this time of year. Even then with you hosting the Vytal Festival," Ironwood reminded. "I appreciate the quality time with friends, if not for your fleet raising concern," Ozpin chuckled as Fives poured tea for himself and the two. "Oz. You know why I have to do this," Ironwood turned serious. "We're in a time of peace," Ozpin reassured. "Fives and Qrow's missions speak otherwise," Ironwood replied. "Qrow said the infiltrators are here in Vale," Fives sighed. "If they are here, we will handle it tactically. Jumping over is not a good idea," Ozpin replied. "On that, we can agree. Hence why the ships," Ironwood sighed. "Well, it's not always a bad idea," Fives corrected. "How do you mean?," Ironwood asked. "Sometimes, you have to throw caution in the wind. Like taking a leap and not knowing where you going to land," Fives clarified. "So what do you propose?," Ironwood asked. "All we can do is wait for the infiltrators to make the next move," Fives replied. "And if the plan fails?," Ironwood asked.
"We don't bet our full hands on the cards. If the plan fails, we adapt and survive. If we do not adapt, we will surely die," Fives replied. "You sound....just like Raven," Ironwood noted. Fives began to leave the room. "Oh and Fives. You should wear the armor. You look naked without it," Ironwood suggested. It only took a moment for Fives to realize. "I pitched that seconds ago," Ozpin interjected "That armor brings me some very disturbing memories," Fives sighed. "Then you should have no problem throwing it away," Ironwood replied as the door behind Fives closes.
In the library, Team RWBY was there, playing a board game. It was surprising that they weren't kicked out yet. "Yang Xiao Long! You're done for now!," Ruby gloated. "Bring it on!," Yang jeered on. "I release! The Atlesian Air Fleet!," Ruby squealed. "You scoundrel!," Yang gasped in horror. "With my army, I will slaughter your forces!," Ruby continued. "Cunning move, little sis. But you've unleashed my trap card!," Yang smirked. "No! Not that card!," Ruby replied. "If I role a 6 or more, Big Feathers will trample on your forces!," Yang smirked. "But if you role a 6 or lower, the Nevermore will turn on your own forces," Ruby replied. "A chance I'm willing to take," Yang smirked and tossed the dice. "Hah! 7!," Yang smirked. "Awww!," Ruby whined. "Your turn, Weiss," Yang replied. "I unleash the dominance card!," Weiss replied as Fives walked by. "Playing Clash of Remnants?," Fives asked. "Yeah!," Yang nodded. "Yes. And now, I have taken over Atlas, wiping out Vacuo forces in the proc...," Weiss began. "Trap card," Yang interrupted. "Huh?," Weiss asked. "Your armies have been decimated," Yang replied. "I hate this game of emotions we play!," Weiss teared up. "Be strong Weiss. We'll make it through together!," Ruby hugs her. "Shut up dolt. Don't touch me," Weiss hugs back. Fives chuckled. "Blake. You're turn," Yang began. "Huh?," Blake looked up from her cards, distracted. "Oh....sorry....not in the mood," Blake replied. "Well...if she's not playing. Then I shall," Jaune gloated. "Yeah. Fat chance," Weiss replied. "Wha?! I could totally try it!," Jaune replied. "Hey guys!," Sun came up, followed by Neptune. "Isn't this a library?," Neptune asked. "Thank you!," Lie Ren yelled. "Pancakes!," Nora woke up. "Don't be a nerd," Sub replied. "No no. It's intellectual," Neptune corrected. "Oh hey! We got a Christmas party coming up. You wanna come?," Ruby asked the two. "Sure," they both replied. "A party?," Blake asked. "Yeah!," Yang nodded. "Team JNPR and CFVY'll join us," Ruby replied. "Yeah! It'll be fun," Yang began. "Fun? With what's been going on with the White Fang? How is a party an appropriate thing?," Blake asked. "Well...we could use it to get our minds off of the White Fang," Ruby replies. "I think it's a colossal waste of time," Blake stood up and began to leave. "I'll be in the library," she replied before leaving. Ruby whined in sadness. "What about you, Professor?," Yang asked. "I uh.....I.....no. Sorry," Fives began to leave. "Aww why not?," Yang asked. "Got too much on my plate," Fives replied. "Which is why you need some relaxation. Your work can wait, sir," Yang continued. "Like Blake said, it's just a colossal waste of time," Fives rejected before leaving. "That makes two people not coming," Ruby whined. "Oh they'll come," Yang smirked in confidence. "Oh yeah? What's on your mind?," Weiss asked.
