Chapter 1 - Lance Mcclain -

"Ugh, it's been like..forever since Keith went off with the blade of marmora...any word from them yet?" Hunk complains, lounging on the couch of the castle-ship beside Allura's mice friends.

Just then, the castle's alarms blare through the commons, red lights flashing quickly. "Alright team! To your lions!" Shiro shouts loudly.

All members of voltron hurried to there lions, Coran collecting data from the alert signal. "Alright everyone, near here just a few ticks away a planet Jubilan is under attack by the galra who aren't yet on our side unlike some others.. Hurry there, and fast."

The paladins arrived to Jubilan faster than expected, in full armor and aboard their lions. They all rushed toward the galran cruisers and fleets, shooting lasers and slicing the sides of the cruisers, causing explosions left and right. Lance, pilot of the red lion yet referred to as the blue paladin, hence his blue armor, whooped and cheered as he took down several cruisers at once, speeding up in red.

He stopped for a brief second, allowing red to cool down. He looked around at the fight happening, seeing one galran battle ship's ion cannon fire up, at first, Lance though it was aimed at the castle-ship, which has a force field up. Then, he realized it was pointed towards the green lion, who was engaged heavily in battle.

"PIDGE!!" Lance shouted over the comms, thrusting at full throttle and pushing the green lion out of the way of the ion cannon's blast just in time.

He'd been hit.

"LANCE!!" Pidge screamed.

An agonizing cry was heard over the comms. All Lance saw was flashes of purple, then white, then, nothing.

Hunk shouted lance's name as he continued firing blasts at the Galran cruisers.

"Lance isn't responding! His lion's out of commission and there's still another cruiser left!" Hank shouts at a panic.

"Not for long!" Allura shouts, she and Shiro then blasted their lasers at the last cruiser simultaneously, causing an all too familiar explosion to sound.

Lance groans, pain piercing his rib cage and arms. He slowly opens his eyes before looking around in a panic, just where was he?

"Lance! You're awake! Finally." A woman with dark skin and extremely light blue hair exclaims, relieved. An unfamiliar alien appears, pushing past the other paladins.

Her dark blue skin and white horns stood out along with her vibrant green hair. "Mind explaining why YOU'RE the only paladin who got injured? And why YOU ended up in the medbay protecting my planet? What's with that, blue paladin?"

"....who are you..?"

"What? You know me Lance, I'm Allura. We're friends." Allura mutters, loud enough to be heard but still quietly. She was extremely worried now. First, he'd been unconscious for almost half a quintant, and now, he doesn't know of her? "Truly you've got to be joking..you know me!"

Lance, now in fear due to Allura's aggression, blurts out a struggled "yes! It's a joke!" Yet regretting it right after, he doesn't know this woman, he doesn't know where or who he is. He's terrified to put it simply. He doesn't know what to do.

"Lance you need to be more serious...anyways. Now that you're awake, we can leave. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience ma'am. Also, Lance, this is the ruler of Jubilan. Madame Jenikar." She says, gesturing to the now upset looking woman who had criticized Lance just a bit ago.
