Later that night, everyone had gone back to their respective rooms aside from Lance, who had gone into Keith's room as per usual. Keith was laying on the sleeping bag still sprawled out on the floor messing with his marmoran blade. "What's that?" Lance questions, sitting at the edge of the bed and peering over at Keith.

"It's a knife I got when I was younger. It was my mom's knife." He says. Lance nods, thinking of the purple skinned muscular woman who seemed way too intimidating to him.

"Oh yeah, her names uh..Krolia, right?" Lance gets a small nod from Keith who then actually looks at the boy on his bed. Lance's hair was disheveled, he wore a loose white tank top and black shorts, his skin was kind of pinkish-reddish mixing into his tanned skin tone. Keith could feel heat rising in his cheeks before he turns onto his side, back facing the Cuban boy. "You tired?" Lance asks, pulling his legs cross-crossed.

"Yeah, I think I'm gonna go to sleep." Keith replies, closing his eyes and attempting at drowning out his thoughts of the Cuban boy. Lance only nods before flopping onto his back, hissing at the burning pain he felt. Keith let's put a chuckle, "Forget the sunburn?" He asks, Lance nods once again, totally ignoring the fact Keith can't see him nodding.

About an hour later, both boys were asleep, Lance still laid on his back with his legs crossed. Lance stirred slightly at how uncomfortable his positioning was before waking up fully. He looks around, his legs aching and decides to get out of bed.

Carefully stepping over the Korean boy, Lance stumbles out of the room silently as to not wake anyone. He roams the castle-ship, soon finding his way to the observation deck. He sits on the floor and looks up, on the other side of the windows of the castle-ship was the peaceful planet they'd landed on.

Lance stared out at where the body of water was, the Lily-pink water shining in the planet's green moonlight. Lance smiled at the sight. The baby-blue grass and the golden leaves of the trees swaying in the wind. The green moonlight illuminated everything, shining through the glass of the windows and onto Lance's face.

Soon, the woosh of the automatic doors sounded through the room along with footsteps. Lance turned and sees Krolia, Keith's mother, walking to him with her hair slightly disheveled, a sign of having a bedhead. "Oh, I didn't think you'd be here, blue paladin." She states, sounding groggy from sleep.

Lance purses his lips. He's never actually talked to Krolia, just nodded when she waved at him when she arrived. He nods slightly, acknowledging her.

Krolia tilts her head, standing with her hand on her hip. "Not very talkative, huh? Keith told me quite differently of you. He said you used to be super talkative and loud. Did something happen?" She asks, walking closer to him and sitting at his side, not too close but not to far.

"Oh..Well, I guess something happened. I lost my memory a while ago.." he admits. Krolia makes an 'o' shape out of her mouth and nods slightly, now understanding his situation. "So..you're Keith's mother?..whatever that means.."

Krolia nods, "it means he's my family. And yes I am." She says. Lance nods despite still not understanding what a family is. "Y'know..if I could ever take something back in my life..it'd be leaving Keith and his father. Definitely." She says, looking out at the vast body of water.

Lance looks at her. Her purple and pink skin was overrun by the moons' bright green light. "What do you mean? You left him? I don't get it, you're here with him so how would you have left him?" He asks, a small frown on his face.

"When he was a baby, I had to leave him and his father to protect them. From the Galra. And to protect the blue lion." She says, "I missed so much of his life, him growing up and his father's death. He was alone for most of his life." She looks at Lance, seeing small tears that were forming in his eyes. "Oh, don't cry paladin.." she mutters.

"Sorry, sorry." He apologizes, wiping his tears out of his eyes. "It's just, I hadn't known until now. Obviously. But it must've been hard for him. It must've been hard for you to leave them also. I can tell you regret it." He says. "But, I think that you should just focus on the fact that you're here now. You can get to know him and uh..bond with him" Lance gives a small smile.

Krolia gives him a semi-half smile, pulling her knees to her chest. Both of them sat in a comfortable silence while staring out at the body of water. "You may not know it, but you're a great person Lance." She stated before getting up and smiling at him.

Lance just nods and watches her leave. A bit later Lance leaves the room aswell, heading back to Keith's room. Once he enters, his eyes landing on the boy sleeping in the sleeping bag.

His stomach fluttered, the feeling rising inside again. His face flushed a bright red color. He scurried over to the bed, lying down and curling up under the blanket.

Lance laid silently, thinking about this feeling he had. He knows it's called love, according to red that is, but he doesn't know what love actually is. What does him loving Keith mean? How is he meant to do about it? Should he tell him? Lance covers his face with the pillow on the bed, squealing quietly.

His face is bright red, he's wondering if the feeling is a good one or not. He turns to look at the sleeping boy on the floor, drool seeping from the corner of his slightly opened mouth. Lance smiled at how peaceful he looked, lowering his hand to move the black hair out of his face. Keith scrunched his nose slightly, the feeling of someone touching his face causing him to stir slightly yet stay asleep.

"I'm in love with you." Lance mutters silently.
