Chapter 10 ~ The Meet

~Katherine POV~

Today was finally the 25th so me, Matthew and Makayla were cleaning our flats so it looked good when the others arrived. Pretty soon everyone arrived. I felt like I was dreaming. Everyone was so nice. Me and Makayla became best friends immediately with Aimsee and Niki. Once everyone got settled we decided to have a small movie night before bed.

I ordered pizza so I didn't have to cook. Once the pizza came we sat down and decided to watch Hamilton. Pretty soon we were all singing, well more like yelling, at the top of our lungs. I noticed Makayla was hanging out with Robaire a lot. I decided to text her and tell her to come to my room real quick.

I got up and said I had to go to the bathroom. Makayla got up and said the same thing. Once we were in my room I asked, "So you and Robaire, huh?" I said while smiling.

"W-what, we're just friends," she says

"I see the way you look at him," I say

"Fine, maybe I do like him. But I doubt he likes me back," she confesses

"Are you blind or something? Have you seen the way he looks at you?" I say

"No," she says

"I bet by the end of this you and him will be a thing," I say

"W-whatever," she says while blushing

"We should probably head back so no one suspect anything," I say

"Yeah, okay," she says and we head back to the couch. As soon as I sit down Matthew wraps his arms around me and pulls me close.

"I missed you," he says

"I wasn't gone that long," I say

"Well it felt like forever," he says

Pretty soon the movie ends and me, Matthew, Niki, Aimsee and Wilbur head next door. We figured out who was going to sleep where. I ended up getting to stay in Matthew's room with him.

Him and I got ready for bed then laid in bed. He then sat up leaning towards me, he propped himself on one arm, his free hand gently grabbing my chin, making me look up to him. "You know, Katherine..." he whispered. My cheeks flushed feeling his breath fan your lips. "Wanna know what I think?" a smirk rested on his lips. "I think you need to be kissed so hard, you can't remember your name."

"Is that so?" I whispered sweetly.

"It is," he whispered back, closing the gap between us.

It seemed like the whole world stopped. The kiss seemed to last forever even though it was only seconds. We both pulled away for a breath. We laid down and cuddled up to each other.

"Goodnight, love," he says

"Goodnight," I say

Right before I drift off to sleep I heard him say something.

"I love you," he whispered

"I love you too," I said and fell asleep in his arms.
