~Katherine POV~
Today was the wedding. Me and Makayla were getting ready in our changing room while Robaire and Matthew were also getting ready. I was so nervous. It was almost time.
Makayla did my hair and makeup and then it was time. I waited with my dad. Pretty soon the music started playing. *cue Model Buses by Lovejoy*
My dad and I walked down the aisle. I saw Matthew. He looked so freaking handsome. If I wasn't walking I think I would've fainted. I walked up the small steps and was standing in front of Matthew. I was so nervous, and I could tell he was too. After the priest said words that i wasn't paying attention to, he said "Do you Katherine Lloyd take Matthew Gold to be your husband?"
"I do," I say
"And do you Matthew Gold take Katherine Lloyd to be your Wife?" the priest says
"I do," he says
"The rings?" the priest asks
Makayla came up with the rings and handed us them.
Matthew put his ring on me and says,
"As this ring has no end, my love is forever,"
Then I put my ring on him and say,
"As this ring has no end, my love is also forever,"
"With the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride," the priest says
He cups my chin and comes close to me and whispers
"May I?"
"Yes you may," I say smiling
and we closed the gap between us.
The crowd erupted with claps. After that we had the party and it was time to throw the bouquet. I turned around and threw it. I then turned back around and saw Makayla catch it. Just like I planned. She looked so surprised. Then I saw Robaire come up behind her and tap her on the shoulder.
She turned around and Robaire kneeled down.
"Makayla Mulitalo, will you marry me?" he asked
"YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES!" she says, then they kissed.
I was so happy for my best friend. We then had dinner together and cake which Matthew had got all over me but I got my pay back.
We then ended the night off back at home in cozy nightwear while watching Turning Red.
It was the best day ever.
