EXT. THE STREET - DAY

BASH (25) walks down the sidewalk. He's a smug look on his face and is dressed in expensively looking, but simple clothes.

He stops when he sees ALEXIA (23) laying on the entrance to the alley with a camera pressed to her face. She has long hair that's framing her face and is dressed in basic clothing. He looks at her for a while, nods to himself and walks up to her. He stands so his shadow falls on an old take away cup and clears his throat.

BASH

What are you doing?

Alexia lowers her camera and looks up at him with squinting eyes.

ALEXIA

Huh? Can you move a little? You're shadowing the objective.

He takes a step away from the sun and she looks into the camera again.

BASH

What are you doing?

ALEXIA

What does it look like? I'm making a moment last forever.

 She takes a few pictures.

BASH

Why?

ALEXIA

If you have to ask you won't understand no matter how well I explain it to you. And, if I can be slightly self-critical, I'm not the best teacher.

BASH

I understand, believe it or not, but I want to hear your arguments. Why do you think that grey brown latte is something to immortalize?

She sighs, sits up, reaches toward him and lets him pull her up, before she presses the touch panel on the camera and hands it to him without letting go.

ALEXIA

What do you see?

BASH

Green grass, dusty asphalt and grey brown latte. And a few black ants.

ALEXIA

Well I see the sunlight reflect in the colour of the grass. I see it warm a few ants who are running for their lives when an unexpected flood of boiling fluid is coming toward them. By the way, it's cappuccino not latte and it's not grey brown but a much warmer shade of brown.
