INT. THE OLD CELLAR IN EXITIUM - DAY
SUPER: Exitium
Lexie's rotting body is laying on the floor in the otherwise empty cellar. The sun is trying to make its way down the stairs but isn't really reaching, except for a few rays dancing at the edge of a step.
Suddenly the portal opens and Alexia throws herself through it and lands on Lexie's body. When she realises what she's laying on, Alexia screams and stumbles backwards in a desperate attempt to get away from the corpse that used to look just like her.
Her eyes are focused on the body until she hears footsteps coming down the stairs. She looks around, desperate for a weapon. Her eyes finds the body again and she takes a deep breath before starting to search it for something, anything that can help her. While she's searching Sebastian hits the last step and runs into the cellar, knife in hand and bag on shoulder, and a wild look on his face. When he sees her, he stops for a second. Her hands are still on Lexie's body and she looks at him like she can't comprehend what she's seeing. He looks at her like he's seeing a ghost.
Then, with a roar he flings himself toward her. She straightens her body and jumps backwards in an attempt to avoid his attack but he's quicker and slams into her, resulting in her falling down on the floor. They rolla round, struggling, until he's laying on top of her with his knife to her throat. Then he raises it and aims for herheart.
ALEXIA
Bash!
He freezes, mid movement.
SEBASTIAN
What'd you call me?
ALEXIA
(pleading)
Bash. Please.
SEBASTIAN
What did you call me!?
ALEXIA
It's your name.
SEBASTIAN
Who are you?
ALEXIA
(with laboured breathing)
Alexia. Can you move please? I'm having difficulty breathing.
He reluctantly moves away from her so that she can sit up. They stare at each other in silence for a few moments.
