INT. KITCHEN/LIVING ROOM - DAY
The kitchen has all the latest features and the living room is nicely decorated with art on the walls, a BOUQUET OF FLOWERS on a small table next to the big windows, and a big TV. The whole flat is stylish and classy.
Alexia is sitting on the sofa with a cup of tea in her hands and a blanket wrapped around her shoulders. She's looking out through the windows, her eyes following the slowly wakening city. It's a grey morning with a sense of rain in the air. Her eyes moves to the flowers next to the window.
INT. LIVING ROOM IN EXITIUM - DAY
The flowers are dead and the world outside deserted, filthy and the air yellowish. It becomes difficult to breathe and Alexia struggles for air. Bash emerges from the bedroom and she snaps back to reality.
CUT BACK TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY
Bash's hair is messy, making him look freshly awake. Alexia takes a deep breath to calm herself down from her vision.
BASH
You're up early.
ALEXIA
So are you.
He sits down next to her and takes the cup from her hands and takes a sip before giving it back. She wraps the blanket around them both.
BASH
Why is it so cold?
ALEXIA
There was a lightning storm earlier. It made the temperature drop.
BASH
That's good. It will be nice not having to take three showers a day to keep myself from melting. Couldn't sleep?
