You and Yoshida currently stand in front of Makima and Denji as Makima explained the situation to Denji.  "Denji seeing as a few parties are out to get you we've decided to provide you some extra protection."

"I'm Kusakabe from Miyagi Public Safety Extermination Division two. It's my pleasure to be working with you."

"I'm his buddy, Tamaoki. Nice to meet you."

Yoshida, partners with Y/n." Yoshida says sticking his thumb towards you. "Let's get along guys."

"They're experts in personal security." Makima says to Denji.

"Y/n's an expert?" Denji mumbles to himself.

"These three, Aki and Angel..... Plus three more agents from Kyoto will be sticking close to you for awhile. There are other people working on this behind the scenes... But you don't need to think about that." Makima says in a smooth tone.

"Man this is a pretty big deal, isn't it?" Denji says proudly, happy being the center of attention.

"You don't know the half of it. Mr. Subaru who's coming from Kyoto is the one who trained Miyagi's division two. He's an incredibly busy man. So yes, it's a very big deal for him to spare time to be a bodyguard."

You and Yoshida side eye each other with how long this man continues to speak condescendingly.

"Boy. As of today, I will be choosing you and your buddy's patrol routes, down to the alley. Am I understood?"

"Yethiiirrr." Denji yawns.

Kusakabe scrunches up his face. "Answer with 'Yes sir'. Try again."

"Come again dude?"

You and Yoshida stifle a laugh now avoiding each other's eye contact to make sure you two wouldn't double down in laughter.

"I am your elder. You will answer me precisely and loudly."

Denji sticks out his tongue upset at the situation. "Whatever dude."

"Not 'whatever'!!! 'Yes,sir!!!" The man with glasses yells irritated.

"Mhm I don't think all that is necessary, do you?" Makima says not really wanting an answer. "Just watch over Denji and his buddies alright?"
