Forgiveness

She felt tears forming because of how nervous she was walking to the dorms.

Please, please, please forgive me. Yeah, I've only treated him like shit for 2 days but I still treated him like shit. I was so rude that I began rolling my eyes at him and giving him dirty looks like I was some popular princess and he was the nerd... I acted like those kids in high school that I've always hated and tried to get away from.

She knocked on the door. She was ready for anything. She really cares for him and hates herself for treating him that way over something stupid.

"Hey." Chan opened the door.
"Hey."
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Could be better..."
There was a slight pause but then Chan said, "You can come in."
"Okay."

As soon as they were inside and the door was shut, she hugged him tightly and began to cry.
"I-I'm so sorry, Chan. I have been so blind. I had no idea I was hurting you. I'm so sorry!" She cried.
He was kind of in shock but, he knew she didn't mean any of her action by heart.
"Y/n, it's okay. L-Let's talk."
"Okay... I'm sorry. I-I just-"
"Y/n, calm down. Here, sit." He said, leading her to the couch.
"Sorry, I'm emotional." She said, wiping her tears.
He didn't respond.
She decided to explain herself now, "Chan, I am so sorry for how I've been treating you. I just can't believe myself right now. You are so kind and loving and I have been very rude to you recently. It's wrong of me to lash out at you this way. The reason why I have been acting this way is because... well, I know you are in love with me. I-It was just a shock, really. But there's no excuse for how I reacted. I do have trust issues from my past relationships and I haven't been in this situation in a while but again, it's no excuse. I just have always seen you as a brother, nothing else. I just had no idea and I reacted inappropriately. I'm so sorry. I hope you can forgive me."
"Y/n, can I ask you something?"
"Yes."
"Did you really ask Minho out?"
Y/n's eyes went wide, "I-I, uh... yeah. I did."
"Do you like him?"
"At the time, I did. Now, I don't. I realized that I don't have a chance with him and that's okay."
"Okay."
"Chan, I'm sorry."
"Y/n..."
"I'm a horrible friend. I feel so bad."
"Y/n, stop! I forgive you, okay?"
"What? R-Really?"
"Yeah, Y/n. I get it, I would be shocked and confused if you liked me back, even though I do really like you Y/n. I honestly thought that I'd be embarrassed about my feelings for you but, I want to admit everything truthfully to you so you know how much our friendship means to me. Yeah, I don't agree with how you did it and it hurt to hear from you but, you owned up to it. I know you've been trying to apologize this past week but I was listening to the boys and they told me to ignore you, although I wanted to hear every word you wanted to say. Just, confront me next time, okay?"
"Yes, Chan. I'm so sorry. Can I hug you?"
"Yes."

They embraced in a lovely warm hug. When she hugged him, she felt butterflies. She didn't know how to feel. She didn't know if she should tell Chan that she felt that way for him. She looked up at his face and he looked down at hers.

She thought, His kind eyes are still there, after everything.

"Thank you, Chan. I'm always here for you. I know it's been a while since we've seen each other and a lot has happened this passed month and a half but, we still are going to be here for each other. We just need to make adjustments to help out our friendship." She smiled.
"Agreed."

It's been two weeks since their apology conversation happened. They are back to normal and Y/n has been asking Chan to go out with her more. She had a conversation with Minho as well and apologized. They talked about her feelings for Chan and he agrees that she should tell him how she feels. She has been trying to figure herself out and her feelings. She doesn't want to lead Chan on if she tells him about her feelings because she isn't sure of them at the moment. She has had some feelings for him in the past but would push them aside. Now that Chan has forgave her, her feelings for him are growing more and more because it proves that he's truly a great guy. She's realizing that these feelings aren't going away for a reason. That reason being that she loves him too.

"Are you ready, Y/n? This is going to be our TV and stage debut as backup dancers!" Shia said.
"Ready as I'll ever be!" Y/n exclaimed.

They both and other back up dancers walked on stage. Itzy's comeback was beginning now. The music started and they all gave all that they've got. Y/n was in a rush because of her excitement and was killing every move. When the music stopped, she felt her sweat dripping on her face. As she heard the cheers, she couldn't help but grin from cheek to cheek. She was so proud of herself.

I'm so happy right now! This went so well!

As the girls and dancers walked off the stage they all hugged each other and were jumping around, trying to be quiet. When they walked into their dressing rooms, they began expressing their feelings.

"I can't believe we just did that!"
"Same!"
"We really just did that!"
"It was so good!"
"So cool!"
"I'm so proud of us!"

As Y/n got dressed into her comfy clothes, she got a text from Chan saying that she should meet him in a separate room in the building. She smiled and began walking her way to where he told her too.

She then opened the door and saw Chan waiting for her, sitting on the couch.

"Hey, Chan! How did I do?"
"Y/n, you did amazing! I'm so proud of you!"
He leaned in to give her a hug but then she said, "Wait! I'm gross right now!"
"So? I hug sweaty guys almost everyday!"
Her eyes went wide, "That sounds a little weird."
"Oh my goodness, Y/n." He chuckled.
"So, why did you want to meet here?"
"Well, I wanted to be somewhere private with you."
"Oh, really?" She teased.
"Hey~!"
"Oh, I'm just teasing!" She chuckled, "So, what is it?"
"Well, I- uh, you see..."
"Woah, woah. Chan, you are all over the place. Just say what you want to say." She chuckled and reassured.
"O-Okay. Y/n, you know my feelings for you and I hope I don't scare you away again but I feel that now is the right time. I-I love you."
She felt her face get hot, and not because she's already sweaty. She couldn't help but blush so hard. She's excited to tell him how she feels now.
"W-Why are you smiling like that?" He asked. He wasn't sure if she was laughing or not.
"Chan, really?"
"Yes, you are just the most beautiful girl to me and I've never felt this way for anyone. I have tried to suppress my feelings but they've only gotten stronger. We talked about being honest with each other and that's what I'm doing now."
She couldn't help but smile, "Chan, you tell me this now when I'm all sweaty and disgusting?"
He looked at her with confusion, "Really?"
"I'm just messing with you. I'm sorry. The truth is though, my feelings have been growing stronger around you and I know how I feel now. There doesn't need to be anymore waiting around, Chan. Cause I love you too."

They both looked away embarrassed and blushing. They both began to laugh out of awkwardness but then Y/n sat closer and closer to him to make him blush more, which worked.

"Chan?"
"Yeah?"
"You're mine now."
There was a little pause but Chan then spoke, "Y/n, no matter how sweaty and messy you are, I'm always going to think that you are the most beautiful girl in the world. You need to know that. I'm glad you're mine now."
