"Josie?" Sky asked, rushing down the stairs when she saw Josie's figure on the floor kneeling.

"Hey, you made it." Hope said with a smile. "Josie?" Josie turned, staring directly at Sky.

"It's me guys. I'm back." Josie assured, hugging Hope and Lizzie.

She then looked at Sky, who jumped into her arms, placing one of her hands behind Josie's head and cradling her. "I thought you were dead." Sky sighed into her neck.

"Landon's in trouble." Hope broke the two up as Josie nodded and they rushed into the woods.

"What happened?" Josie asked.

"I had to make a choice, and... I didn't choose Landon." Hope admitted. "But it's okay, because he's gonna come out any second, and- and if I-" Hope closed her eyes. "When I open my eyes, he's gonna be there. My God. I don't see him."

"I do." Josie muttered as they saw a bright orange figure drop down. Landon stood up, holding onto Dorian

"Dorian, hey, it's gonna be okay, buddy. Just hang in there, hang in there." Alaric assured as they tended to the wounded man.

"Hey. You doing okay?" Sky stood at the doorway of Lizzie and Josie's room.

"Which one of us are you talking to?" Lizzie questioned.

"Both, honestly."

"I'm okay."

"I'm fine."

"Hey, uh. Could I talk to you outside?" Sky looked at Josie, who nodded and followed her outside.

Sky twiddled with her rings as Josie stood in front of her. "I really thought you were dead."

"Same."

"I just, wanted to do something in case you ever decide to do something that scares me like that again." Sky started moving closer as Josie did the same. Sky could feel Josie's breath linger on her lips.

"Lizzie's calling me. I have to go." Josie said suddenly, pulling back and giving her a small smile before walking back into her room.

"Oh." Sky whispered before going back to her room, crying herself to sleep.
