The Light in My Life

Prologue

Darkness

That is how I would describe my life. You are probably confused. Let me start at the beginning. My dad was a filthy, drunk idiot that should just die. I know that isn't something to wish on your father, but...I don't feel like he is my father. We are nothing alike.

I seriously had been trying my best to make mom do the DNA test or really anything to prove that pig isn't my father, but she says "It's too expense." I would pay for everything I always stated." Of course he is your father."

I think I would know if he was. But, I would rather have that disgusting life then be alone. My mom and Bates, aka "My dad" (still don't count "Bates" as anything close to family) was brutally murder and they still haven't caught the culprit. After my mom's funeral, I ran and ran and ran. I ran from the pain that not having her around with her bright green eyes, shimmering with happiness and pride when she looked at me, her beautiful blonde hair that shined like the sun. I still have one reminder of her. Her favorite necklace, a simple rose pendant that had belong to our family for centuries.

This was the only piece of my past left, but memories. On her birthday and the day she died, I visit her grave and sing one of her favorite songs. Unlike me and Bates, me and my mom had lots in common such as our love of art, music, and dancing. Now, I live with a kind, old man named, Ross, who I call uncle. I go to Yancy Academy, or more commonly know as my torture chambers. I love learning, but not with all these airheads or rich kids. I have found some OK people (which is very few). My name is Alexandra Raven Enora, but most people call me Alex. I still have my love of music, dancing and art. I have a lean figure with brown hair and dark blue eyes. I always wear beanies, graphic tees, hoodies/leather jacket hybrids, jeans and my beloved combat boots. Well, I have to go walk my precious husky, Alpha. Hope you enjoy the craziness of my life.

Hiya!!!! This is my first book ever...so don't expect much. Also I don't know how often I will update or if my chapters will get much longer. In the next chapter, I will post a picture of the pendent and if I do a 2rd Ch. then I will post Alpha.... Hope you enjoy "The Adventures of Alex Enora and Alpha"
