We all bonded on the ride, which I felt we all needed. With this sudden change in my life, it was good to have friends for once. I started learning about demigods and different things about them. Percy started talking about a girl named Annabeth while Grover rolled his eyes. I looked out the window, the forest racing past us.
Is this all real? Has my whole world changed? And if so, what is in now?
My mind start thinking of all the change, giving me a headache. Then I realized something.
"That means Bates isn't my dad!!! Yes!" I shouted randomly, scaring everyone in the car. After mumbling an apology, I asked Grover more about Camp Half-blood.
"So, what is Percy's godly parent? And how do you find out? What do they teach here? Does this mean I have family? Actually living family?" I bombarded him with questions before he said, "One at a time women!"
"Percy is the son of Poseidon, your godly parent claims you and thier symbol appears above your head. You learn how to fight monster and just general demigod stuff. And yes, technically almost everyone there is related to you." Grover smiled.
"You'll fit in, Alex! Who knows who your dad is! Maybe you'll find out you have cool powers, like Nico." Percy smiled, elbowing me playful.
"Yeah, I guess. But, I'll probably just stay around you guys...I don't make friends easily." I leant on Percy's shoulder as he always was like a playful vrother to me and Grover...well, was the mature one. That made sure we didn't kill ourselves.
"We are almost there." I heard Grover say, fueling the bubbling excitement and cloud of worry.
