“Alex!” I heard, pulling me out of my thoughts.
“I thought you were leaving me for thinking mode, like Grover.” Percy joked, while I shook my head and chuckled, “You can’t get rid of me that easily, Perc.”
After lunch, boring class after boring class until….
Latin!
I rushed in and cheered. Then I saw Mr. Brunner and Grover and Percy. I decided I should ask it after class. So, I sat and listened to Mr. Brunner teach Latin.
“Miss Enora, Mr. Underwood, and Mr. Jackson. May I please speak with you after class.” Mr. Brunner announced, seconds before the bell rang.
“Underwood, have you found the demigod?” He asked, while me and Percy shared dumb-found looks.
“Wait, you mean like demigods? Half human half god?” I asked, “Are you insane? The Greek and Roman gods don’t ex-“ I was interrupted by Grover.
“Yes, sir. Who is the godly parent?” He asked, Percy seeming to understand.
“What the Hera is going on?!” I shouted.
“You are a demigod, as is Percy, but he already knows. We have to get you both to Camp Half-Blood before you ge- CRAAAAA”
He was interrupted by a human-like bird, trying to attack us.
“What the Hades!!” I shouted pulling Grover and Percy down.
“We need to go! NOW!” Grover and Mr. Brunner shouted frantically, while the bird readied another attack. I slid and grabbed my textbook and ruler.
“UNGRUAD FOWL BEAST!!” I screamed, using the textbook as a shield and stabbed the beast with a ruler, which made it let out an earth-shaking screech.
We all ran while it was trying to get the ruler out.
And this was just the beginning.
