Yeji's POV

"You've got to be kidding right? is this just a prank?" I asked and looked at the both of them

"We're being serious right now Yeji, you will be marrying her this evening and its just for one year and you can go back to have your own life" dad told me

"I will never marry anyone else, I already told you that I'll be only marrying Haeun (random name)" I told them

"We know that you want to marry Haeun, Yeji. But you have to do this for the company and for theirs as well. We actually talked to Haeun and she said she's fine with it since you and the girl would just be together for a year. You two can get a divorce right after" mom told me. One year, I hope it goes by quickly.

"Fine" I said and went out of their office and slammed the door

I was walking down the hallway to my room and at the corner of my eye I see my cousins at the kitchen.

"What are you three looking at?" I asked and glared at them

"No need to be mad Yeji, we were just having a chat" Jennie unnie said

"Yeah, you're always so grumpy" Lia said and chuckled and looked back at Jennie unnie

"What? don't look at me like that, I might as well slap your face" Seulgi unnie told me and I rolled my eyes at them. They were annoying to be honest.

Jennie unnie is a model, she's been modeling for years and served a good title for their family. Seulgi unnie, she's a model as well but she also paints which made her quite famous. Lastly, Lia is also a model, can't believe all of my cousins are models and I was left to be the CEO of the company.

My parents adored all of them even though they weren't their real children, their parents were always busy that's why they spend most of their time here at my parent's mansion.

I went to my room to figure this shit out, marrying someone I don't know just gives me the creeps. I can't just be with someone when I'm already with Haeun. Me and Haeun are together for already two years, we've been planning to be together and get married but then this happened.

I grabbed my phone and called her.

"Hi babe, did mom and dad talked to you about something?"

"Yeah they did, why?"

"Why did you said yes to it? we were planning to get married Haeun"

"Babe, its only a year and I couldn't do anything. Both of your parents need this and even you. I actually hate the fact that you have to marry a different girl but their family needs it I guess"

"You want us to wait for another year?"

"Yeji, one year will go by quick and what could go wrong?"

"A lot babe"

"Well, I'll be home in an hour and we could do the stuff you wanted to do the other time" I could hear her giggle from the other line

"And what color would it be this time?"

"Its a secret, I'll surprise you. I have to go now babe, see you later, love you. Oh and also, be prepared"
