Chaeryeong's POV

I decided to just stay at Aunt Jieun and Aunt Seungkyung's cabin since Yeji doesn't seem to be pleased with me around. I got my stuff from her cabin and brought it here to the other. Aunt Seungkyung suggested if I wanted to hang out with them at the beach bar later but I politely declined their offer. I wanted to be alone at the seaside so that I could at least calm my mind.

"Okay sweetie, we'll be off to the bar first. Call us if you ever need anything okay?" Aunt Seungkyung told me

"I will, have fun Aunt Seungkyung, Aunt Jieun" I said with a smile. They hugged me first before leaving and I was then left alone in their cabin.

While I was in the room, I realize I was too rude at Yeji. Yes, I know she was mean to me as well but both of my parents didn't taught me to act rude. They always told me that even though other people act bad towards me, I should still act kind to them.

I wanted to say sorry to Yeji for acting rude but how could I even do that when she doesn't want me around. She looked so happy when I decided to not stay in her cabin.

I tried to look what I had in my luggage to at least change into something. Maybe another stroll on the shore would be nice, I can probably have a little picnic just like what me, appa and unnie do back then.

I excitedly grabbed some clothes but when I was going to change someone knocked on the door...

Yeji's POV

I was still on my laptop when someone suddenly entered the room. Obviously it wouldn't be Chaeryeong because she would knock. I looked up and saw my cousin Seulgi.

"What do you want?" I asked her

"Get some daylight will you? You've been staying here after breakfast" she told me

"I'm busy" I told her

"You could've at least tour your wife around" she said and I rolled my eyes on her

"Don't want to, she doesn't even talk to me" I said to her and Seulgi unnie went closer.

"Well, If you didn't fucked with Haeun on your wedding night then you two would be at least talking to each other" she said and my eyes widened, how did she knew about it?

"Shocked aren't you? I would always know Yeji, remember last time when we were supposed to attend something important, I know you didn't reasoned for your work. It was because you wanted to be with Haeun all night. Anyways, show your contract wife, as you always say.... show Chaeryeong some respect. You don't know what she's been through" she told me and I looked at her confusingly

"Then what do you know?" I asked her

"It's your job to find out, she's your wife afterall" she told me and went to the door

"Go and apologize to her" she said and left my cabin.

I had no choice I guess, if I don't do it Seulgi unnie will for surely tell mom and dad what me and Haeun did. She knows everything all the time, maybe Lia told her again, she's one of the most annoying cousins I ever had

I got off the bed, finally and went out of my cabin to go to where Chaeryeong was. I got there and knocked on the door, I waited for a while and when it seemed liked forever, she finally opened the door.

"Y-Yeji" she stuttered, I thought she was mad at me?

"Um yeah, just want to talk to you" I said and she nodded, not looking at ms

"I'm sorry for acting um, disrespectful as your wife. I would like to make it up to you" I said and I saw her eyes wondering around the floor
I waited but she didn't reply.
