Flashback.....

Chaeryeong just got back from school, she was for sure tired after those hours of classes and activities. It has just been two years since her appa and sister passed away. Of course, she misses them a lot and she didn't really have someone to spend time with

"Chaeryeong? are you home?" she heard that familiar demanding voice, she just hopes that time flies faster so that she can be an adult already

"Nae" she simply answered as she removed her shoes

"Oh okay, well can you do the dishes? your siblings are having a game with their friends" her step mom said. Chaeryeong wanted to protest and not follow the order. She wasn't a maid around the house to start off and they were living in her appa's house.

"I'll do it later" Chaeryeong said and went off to her room. Needless to say, Chaeryeong's room wasn't that big, they let her stay at the guest room ever since her appa and sister died which led her step mother and step siblings to have separate rooms each.

Chaeryeong changed into more comfortable clothes and brought her laundry to the laundry room. She was shocked to see some clothes stacked up on one of the baskets, it was all theirs.

"I also forgot, can you do the laundry?!" she heard her mom asked and she just sighed and did as so.

It was hard for Chaeryeong, she was just 15 and they were treating her like a maid. Chaeryeong does know how to take care of herself and do chores but its like they are just using her.

After putting the laundry in the washing machine and turning it on, Chaeryeong went back to her room to call Natty.

"Hey ryeong~ what's up?"

"Hi Ty, just tired and need someone to talk to"

"Um are you sure? maybe your step mom might scold you for not doing chores again"

"I already did the laundry, what else do they want me to do? Natty, I'm still studying and I can't do chores all the time. I also get tired from school, you know that"

"I know Ryeong, that's why I'm worried. That's why I'm insisting you to just stay with us. My parents would be happy to have you around, they know how much you need support especially from what happened"

"You know that my step mom and step siblings won't even allow me to go out. They're so strict. They don't let me buy what I want even its just a simple thing"

"I'll find a way ryeong, but do rest. I saw you leaving school this afternoon snd you look really tired"

"I'll try to, I still need to do the dishes and-"

"Ryeong?"

"Hello?"

"Ryeong!!"

Chaeryeong's phone was suddenly snatched by her step-mom. Chaeryeong's eyes widened as she saw her standing there.

"Didn't I told you to wash the dishes? and who are you talking to?"

"I-It's none of your business" Chaeryeong said, of course she was nervous as hell

"Of course its my business, I'm in charge here"
her step-mom said

"Are you try to sneak out? huh? you want to leave for good? want to go live on the streets? I can kick you out of this house"
