Meet up

A few weeks have passed ever since VDC.

Yuu and Grimm were often getting tasked around my headmaster Crowley when they didn't have classes.While [Y/N],spent most of their free time at the forest near by the school building.

And who else enjoys spending time at the forest?

Neige LeBlanche.

With that being said,The two would normally see each other at the forest.Either by pure coincidence or on purpose.

At some point,they got each others numbers and started messaging each other frequently.And then they decided to make little schedules on when they can and should meet in the forest.

Sometimes,[Y/N]'s fellow dorm mates or other classmates could catch them smiling to themselves while looking at their phone.

"What nya smilin' at?~"

"Ah!what the fU- CHE'NYA-"

"L A N G U A G E."

And that was one of the times they were caught smiling blissfully at their phone.During one of dorm warden Roseheart's tea parties and Che'Nya randomly appeared,....With only his upside down head visible.

Little time skip to where they are today,right now.

[Y/N] was walking to the deeper parts of the forest,holding their phone in one hand with their other in their pocket's.

It was around lunch time and they finished their meal way faster than expected.So they decided to text Neige and asked to meet up.

Stopping in their tracks and looking up to see the right place.The very place they met.

They sat down on the grass,leaning back on an old tall oak tree.A few forest animals coming up to them as they scrolled through their phone.

With them commonly coming there to that spot,the wild animals learned to recognize and like them more.Especially with Neige always there with them.

A familiar blue bird landed on their shoulder,they glanced at the small creature,raising their hand and petting it as gently as they could.Stroking the birds feathers.

Putting their phone down on the ground besides them,they stroked and pet the other forest animals surrounding them against the tree.Until a sweet tune was heard being hummed in the distance.

The animals immediately ran away from them and towards the source of the lovely voice.[Y/N] stood up and dusted their clothes off.Picking up their phone and already guessing who that beautiful voice could belong to.

"Good evening,Neige."

Neige stopped right in front of them and casually waved.To which [Y/N] smiled and waved back.

A little fawn nudged Neige's leg,stomping one of its leg on the ground.Neige chuckled softly and sat down,the fawn laying down beside him.[Y/N] also sat down beside Neige,on the opposite side the fawn was at of course.

[Y/N] turned on their phone,checking the time.Relieved to see they still had plenty of time before their next class.While looking at your phone,the young man beside you yawned and put his head on your shoulder.

"Hm?"

Turning their head to look at Neige,who seemed to be asleep on their shoulder.[Y/N] snapped her fingers infront of his face a few times,shook him a bit,but he was a deep sleeper.

A sigh escaped their lips,Waking him up would be rude and make things awkward.But hey,he's breathing so at least he's not dead.

They let him have this one,going through their phone for a few minutes,petting the animals laying around them,while he was asleep on their shoulder blade.

Minutes pass by and the one awake grew bored.They knew it was kinda weird and messed up,but they just zone out starring at Neige's facial features,or they poked his cheek every once in a while.

It was when Neige grumbled and stirred a bit too much they stopped.He shook his head in his sleep which made [Y/N] quickly take their hand back and away from his face.

Neige rubbed his eyes,sleepily glancing up from [Y/N]'s shoulder.Immediately lifting his head and moving away.Sweat dropping as he awkwardly apologized.

"Sorry,Did I fall asleep?That was a bit inconvenient of me..."

Scratching the back of his head,smiling with his eyes close.[Y/N] didn't really know how to respond or what to do,they only starred at him with a weird small smile.

"It's..fine.'

Silence.Neige didn't reply.The two just starred at eachother.The silence was almost deafening.But it was also calming in a way.

It was all just peaceful and quiet when their phone started ringing and scared all the animals away. [Y/N] picked it up to remember that they set an alarm for when they had to come back.

"Ah- shit..Sorry Neige,I have to go back for class or else I'll be late...See you later"

They stood up,putting their phone in one of their pockets.Turning their head to glance at Neige one last time.Who was now also standing straight.

"Goodbye."

Was all he said.[Y/N] smiled at him before running out the forest and back to the school.
