Too Good To Be True

"Oh well...I just hope the animals won't die or get sick because of...whatever that is."

They walked to the door,opening the door,walking out,and slamming it shut.Walking down the corridors to find the nurses office or maybe just Neige at least.

Silence was something they got used to here at RSA.It was casually peaceful.No fights,no yelling,nothing.Just normal talking amongst the students and teachers.

Nothing.They've been at RSA for quite some time now,yet they still can't remember where that damned nurses office is.Screw their memory loss and dizziness.Speaking of dizziness,they have been walking around on the verge of fainting.Luckily,not much people were out at the time since they were either at their dorm or doing something else.

Once Neige's door was in sight,their vision got too blurry,and their dizziness getting to them.They reached out for his door knob,attempting to twist it.But when they blinked,they fell to the ground with a loud sound.

"[Y/N]?"

[Y/N] jumped up,finding themselves in a bed that does not belong to them.Though it feels cozy and familiar,they wanted to know how they got here.Even though they just woke up with the biggest headache ever and shouldn't be stressing over such things because it just makes it worse.

Hearing faint footsteps outside the room coming closer made it even worst.It made their anxiety levels go over the roof.

"..Hello?anyone there..?"

The door knob twisted,[Y/N]'s guard was up,they gathered all the energy to attack if a threat came.

A high pitched squeak sound that pierced into the silence,the door slid open slowly,stopping midway.They were really on the verge of exploding from anxiety.

"[Y/N]-San?are you awake already?"

Exhaling the breath that got stuck in their throat,a sigh of relief.It was just Neige.Just Neige.Neige is nothing to be afraid of,right?

"Ah Neige,its just you.Scared me for a moment there.."

Laughing the awkward situation off,the uneasy expression remained.A bead of sweat rolling down their nape,sweating under the thick sheets.Even though there was an A.C on,it felt burning hot.

"So,..How are you feeling?"

"Horrible.What happened anyways?my head burns.."

Pressing their palm against the back of their head,their vision suddenly blurring ever so often as well.

"You passed out right in front of my door...What happened?"

He bated his eyes at them in innocence,confusion and concerned laced on his angelic features.It seemed truthful,that he wad truly concerned.A bit too truthful that it didn't seem true at all.Does that make sense?oh well.They didn't care to notice since they were too busy trying to figure out how they were gonna word it.

"Well...uhm.."

Their voice cracked,looking to the side to avoid eye contact.Neige got more confused at this.

"The food that you gave me earlier at lunch...it kinda tasted a bit funny.."

[Y/N] tried their hardest to say it in a way that wouldn't upset or offend the poor boy.Is it just me or did his eyes just go dark?probably just the lighting.

"Oh..I must have messed up on some part...I apologize if that's the reason..."

Hiding his hand behind his back and sadly looking away,their eyes widened as they felt guilt pierce through their heart.

"No No,Neige..Its not your fault.."

Bitting down on his bottom lip,he closed his eyes for a second.Fluttering them open,the bright look returning.It looked like he got an idea.

"Hey- I can make you some soup if you want!"

"Neige- its fine-"

Trying to decline the offer,they didn't want Neige to go through the trouble of having to work in the kitchen again.

"Maybe some warm soup can help with your headache!Oh my you may also have a fever...we might need medicine--"

He didn't listen and continued to ramble,pacing around his room as [Y/N] sat still on his bed.

"Neige you don't have to its not that bad-"

"Oh but I have to!You're my friend after all"

Neige spun around looking distressed.It concerned [Y/N] how he was fretting over this,how much he cared.Turning back around,he opened the door,looking back over his shoulder with a smile.

"I'll be back.I promise I'll make it quick so you wont have to wait for too long"

Before they could even have the chance at answering,he walked out the door and slammed it shut.The sounds of his shoes tapping getting further and further until it couldn't be heard any more.

[Y/N] prayed to every God and Deity watching over them,praying it won't turn out as bad and actually be digestible.And that they don't die of poisoning or something.

Looking around Neige's room,it was a bit big,and rather fancy.It was modern with a mix of cottage core.How cute.

They layed back down,starring right into the ceiling without a single thought.It was a stare off with them and the ceiling of Neige's room.

They swore they just closed their eyes for a second,that they didn't mean to drift off into the world of peaceful slumber.But they did,unfortunately.
