Missing(?)

Classes were back.

They retrieved the magestone.

But something felt wrong

Something was missing

Someone was missing.

"[Y/N]?.."

Yuu sat upright on the side of their bed,starring at [Y/N] who was packing their things.The moon light that went through the window shone on their face,letting Yuu see the clearly guilty and saddened expression.

Grimm was still fast asleep,[Y/N] tried to be as quiet as they could to not wake them up.But unfortunately,they dropped their toothbrush and Yuu was a light sleeper.

Bitting down on their lower lip,they tried to think of a way on how to break the news to Yuu.While Yuu starred at them with slightly widened sleepy eyes.Waiting for their answer in anticipation.

"[Y/N]...Why are you packing your things?where are you going..?"

They asked them,their voice and face going dead serious.But you can't fail to see the worried glint in their eyes.Even though they asked them loud and clear enough to hear but not too loud for Grimm to wake up,[Y/N] still did not answer.

"Answer me.[Y/N],please,where are you going..?"

"I'm sorry."

[Y/N] finally spoke up,yet the reply only made Yuu's curiosity grew further.Why were they apologizing?

They continued putting their belongings in the luggage.Yuu stood up,catching [Y/N]'s attention and causing them to glance up at them.Their hands not stopping from packing.

Yuu slowly walked to where [Y/N] was sitting,they crouched down to sit across from them.

"Why are you apologizing?I just want you to explain why you're packing your things."

They looked up from their opened luggage to look at Yuu,only to see they were already looking back at them directly in the eye.

Sighing,they finally decided to open up and explain to Yuu.

"You know how earlier,the headmage called me to his office.."

"Yeah?what about it?"

"...He asked if I was okay with transferring to Royal Sword Academy."

"What..?!Did you say yes?.."

Yuu tried to keep quiet,but their shock did not help them at all.[Y/N] looked away to the side,not answering.It only confirmed their suspicion,that [Y/N] agreed to transferring to RSA.

"...why?"

"They were also there....Royal Sword Academy's headmaster Ambrose...and Neige.."

Silence.While Yuu looked dumbfounded,like a dear caught in the headlights,[Y/N] looked guilty.They felt guilty for not listening to their gut feeling to say no.They felt guilty for willingly leave their friends at NRC.Their friends...they'll hate them if they found out they chose to go to RSA then stay here,at NRC...

No...they can't let that happen...Even though they agreed with transferring,that doesn't mean they want to loose their friends...It sounds hypocritical but they were the first people who cared about them and Yuu when they stepped through that mirror.
