Tranquility

Hurried sharp footsteps were heard by the trail.[Y/N],who was trying to reply as fast as possible while speed walking to the specific place,almost tripped over big stones multiple times.But nothing stopped them from typing crazy.

Many small forest animals have scattered,ran,or flew away from being startled with their fast footsteps.Colorful birds on the ground flew up into the trees,rodents and rabbits ran into the nearest bushes,even a deer looked up and turned to go to the other direction.

Clicking the send button,exiting the app to go to another one.Opening an alarm app and setting a timer to remind them when to go back.

Oh how thankful the creatures were when you stopped typing,looking up from your phone to see a both confused and concerned Neige looking at you with an eyebrow raised.With a blue sparrow landed on his raised finger.
The phone laying on the grass beside Neige vibrated.Signalling it got their text.

A weak smile tugging on the NRC student's lips,they walked over to where Neige was sitting at.The sparrow on his finger flying away to your shoulder instead,making the other person beside them giggle in amusement.

The two didn't spoke to eachother.Enjoying the peace and silence.But both were very aware they had very little time so one decided to speak up to break the tranquility.

"What's wrong?I heard you running like a maniac from the distance scarring a lot of animals away"

Turning his head to look at them.A warm smile and cloudy eyes starring at the other student.They shifted their gaze to look at him.Now they were both just starring at eachother.

A few seconds pass and [Y/N] couldn't do nor say anything but just smile back at Neige.Really,they looked so cute at the moment,some may even mistaken them as a couple if they saw the two right now.

The stillness was killed by giggling belonging to the two.A few of the animals hiding in the bushes slowly gone out their hiding place and cane closer to the both of them.Feeling much more safer because of the sounds of sweet laughter.

Putting an arm around their shoulder unconsciously,this act did not go unnoticed by the other.In fact,they stopped laughing and looked at his arm.Blinking a few times to make sure they weren't going crazy.

A few moments after they stopped,Neige's died done as well.A bit confused on why you suddenly just stopped laughing.

Looking at [Y/N],to see their starring at something else.He followed their gaze to realize he accidentally put an arm around their shoulder.Pulling his arm away,making them look back at him with slightly widened eyes.

"Sorry,..I didn't realize what I was doing..sorry.."

Apologize.He was apologizing.For putting his arm around their shoulder.It may seem they have gone mute since they havent said anything in a while.Just starring back at him,slightly widened eyes with a light rosy tint on their cheeks.

"Oh,its fine."

Was all that came out.Their voice may sound a bit hoarse,and it was very evident to Neige.Concern starting to show on his lovely face.

He didn't respond to that.He looked away awkwardly.To which they did the same.It was now too awkward and the tension was turning so thick that it could be cut with a knife.

Now they were starting to think they were just wasting time with not talking to eachother.Its almost been 8 weeks and it seemed as if the two still couldn't find a.topic to talk about.Perhaps their meetings are turning way too similar,with them just doing the same thing over and over again.It just seemed as if there was a routine and the routine was getting boring.

Their brain was now wandering off and thinking of the most random things.From if Grimm got threw out the window by professor Crewel,to if Yuu got rabies or any severe injuries  from Grimm scratching and constantly biting them.

Hey its suddenly getting hotter.Was the sun always this radiant and bright today or was their mind playing with them?

Their  uniforms coat also seemed heavier and the left side of it was slowly sliding off their shoulder.They side glanced at Neige to see if he was reacting the same way or if they were truly going into insanity.

But Neige seemed unaffected,if it was really hot then he would be a sweating mess under than sweater and thick-ish uniform.

[Y/N] was on the last straw of stability,they were really about to lose it.The pass few weeks were rough.First, they almost drowned in the river.Second,some savanaclaw students tried pushing them into the savanaclaw dorms pool when invited them 'for a little talk'.Then,the headmaster was about to expel them for breaking school property,if Yuu wasn't there the great seven knows where [Y/N] would be now.And after all that,their bound to lose all morality and dignity.

Scooting away from Neige.Close enough to not let him notice and far enough to not feel his body heat.

It is about to be summer anyways.So this kind of weather ins't much of a surprise.But why the hell did it have to be this hot.

Being far away enough from the young boy,who was currently distracted,gently stroking an orange fox who had now laid down on his lap,asleep.They took of their coat.It wasn'tsuch a big deal since they had a white long sleeve under it anyways.

Which was also a problem.Oh great seven just why didn't they decide to wear a t-shirt under the uniform coat instead??

They could only curse their past self for not paying much attention to the temperature and reminding themselves  their classes had an A.C.

Looking around hysterically to find something to distract them.Anything.Just anything to distract them from the annoying heat.

A hand on their shoulder made them jump and shriek.Swatting the hand awayWhich woke up the sleeping fox and made Neige himself flinch.

When they looked back to see a frightened Neige and even more frightened fox about to get up and away,they started apologizing multiple times for being so jumpy.

"Its alright,just wanted to check if you were oka-"

And there it was.Their timer ringing at the most inconvenient times.[Y/N] made a clearly annoyed expression and rolled their eyes,picking up the phone and turning off the alarm.Their eyes widening when they realize they were late.

"Crap- sorry Neige I'm late I gotta go-"

"oh,okay,..Goodbye"

They stood up and ran out the forest and back to the school.Neige standing up too,with the little orange fox in his arms.

He wouldn't have been fine with them leaving if they hadn't told him about a certain group of savanaclaw students attempting to push you in their dorms pool after 'inviting you over for a little chat'.

Like a normal friend,he got worried,which was obvious to them.They only thought of him getting a bit more concerned for them since they havn't talked in almost 2 months.

But a certain voice in him encouraged him to check up on them later 'in case something crazy happens to them again'.That group of students might come back for them as revenge for reporting them to the headmaster and getting them in trouble.

Just then he imagined the things they could possible do to them.They could hurt [Y/N].One of his most loved and treasured friends.And he sure doesn't want that now does he?

He turned around and calmly walked back to RSA.Acting as if he wasn't late himself.The teacher wouldn't care.In fact they wouldn't care if they don't go at all.He could easily make up some excuse anyways.And they'd Believe him.
