*Oshin POV*
Man, I'm on cloud 9. I graduated from cosmetology school. Got a job. A bad bitch on my arm and her family knows, and they are supportive...I think. But this Dez bullshit jeopardizes everything I've worked for. Everything I've fought so hard to establish. Yeah, I did something fucked up by dumping Terra just for a shot at Zariah. Not my shining moment but when you find someone you love, you just gotta go for it. Unfortunately now with Dez begging for forgiveness and me and everyone considering it. I'm worried. I shouldn't be because I know how much Z loves me but damn she was head over heels for Dez. Dated men and nothing but men until Dez. Dez fucks it up by chance and I weasel in. It makes me sick. It makes me angry at myself. It makes me not want to forgive Dez because I can't forgive myself.
I laid in bed and sighed. I want to say Oshin it's okay. But, I know it isn't. I gotta apologize to Terra. I asked her to meet me at Starbucks so I can talk to her. Z is at work but I wish I had her to help me figure out what to say and how to say what I need to say but I guess I can do this on my own. More so I have to do this on my own. Oshin just tell Terra the truth. Honesty is the best policy. Just tell her what you were feeling and why you dumped her. But sugar coat it. Oh well, maybe not sugarcoat it but don't make her cry in the Starbucks. I got dressed and grabbed my phone. Z had texted me.

I put my phone in my purse and headed out of my apartment and drove to the Starbucks. Once I got there, I got out and ordered me a java chip frappe and a breakfast sandwich and waited for Terra.
"Hey" She walked up and sat down
"Hey T" I sighed " Thanks for agreeing to see me"
"Well I figured we needed to talk since I'm dating your girlfriend's brother now" She chuckled
"Yeah didn't know you did men" I laughed
"I'm bi, I told you that" She sipped her drink
"Yeah I guess you did but truthfully I assumed it was bi as in yeah I look at men on occasion" I laughed
"Leave to Oshin to assume anything that isn't straight is just gay gay" She chuckled
"Nah" I shrugged
"So Bisexual means" She lifted an eyebrow
"Means you like men and women" I nodded " which you do and that's great"
"Oshin" She shook her head
"I'm just teasing" I smiled " You know I knew that"
"Right" She side eyed me
"Well time to get down to business" I sighed " T imma just say it, I dumped you because I wanted a chance to be with Z after she broke up with Dez"
"I know" She licked whipped cream off her hand unfazed by my words
"Huh" I looked at her
"Saw how you looked at her" She shrugged " Rumor has it she's your type and you were a hoe"
"Who said that about me" I asked
"Your friends" She shrugged " With friends like that baby girl you didn't need enemies"
"My friends called me a hoe? Was it adrian and Dez" I asked
"Yeah. Adrian" she nodded
"Oh yeah they hard on me. But I'm different now" I sighed " and I'm sorry for doing that to you. I should've been honest about why I wanted to break up
"I saw it coming" She shrugged "honestly was gonna dump you, thought you were cheating on me"
"No I could never, you didn't deserve that and you didn't deserve being misled by me"
"Forgiven" She smiled "friends"
"You not mad" I asked "its that simple"
"Yeah because you two are so cute together. There was nothing for us if you loved her. I'm glad you dumped me rather than cheat on me" She shrugged " plus I have a man now so I'm not gonna be no bitter ass ex wondering what could I been"
"Well cool, I'm sorry and hope your relationship with Zion goes well" I smiled
"I hope yours with Zariah goes well" She smiled and pulled me into a hug and whispered in my ear
"You lucky I'm a changed woman or I'd cut your ass in this starbucks" She let me go
"So we not cool" I asked
"We cool" She smiled "just a warning. If it wasn't for my new relationship and new attitude, I'd kill you for fucking playing me like that Oshin. I was warned about you and thought it wouldn't happen. Don't ever play with anyone that way again or you'll get what's coming. Karma baby" She got up and walked away.
What was that. I just rubbed my face and got up and headed to work. I had a 3 clients today. Plan on knocking them out quickly and heading to Z's for family dinner. Since us coming out I've been officially invited to family dinners. I got to work and waited for my first client. She wanted some simple cornrows cause her sister was gonna give her a weave or something and she didn't know how to properly fix her hair for it. I got her in and out and my goddess braid client came in. I got her in and out and my last client of the day cancelled. The boss was lady was gonna let me go but another client came in while I was cleaning up to leave and since it was close to closing I decided to help. I walked out and Dez was sitting in my shampoo chair.
"Hello Desiree" I walked over to here and tipped her back
"Oshin" She looked surprised to see me
"Dez getting a haircut you mind she want a new look" My boss called over to me
"Aight I got her" I smiled and sprayed some water on Dez... I mean on her hair.
"Oshin" She looked at me
"Hose slipped" I rinsed her hair and then added shampoo
"I didn't know you worked here" She tried to make small talk
"yeah just started" I tried to concentrate on my work
"So you licensed now. that's great" She smiled
"Yeah" I put conditioner in her hair and rinsed it out
"That smell good O what product is that" She asked
"Creme of nature" I sighed " Follow me" I wrapped her hair in a towel and led her to my chair
"I know you're mad at me but I miss us O, I miss teasing you with Adrian" She chuckled
"Yeah I bet" I rolled my eyes
"Not that way O, like in a friendly way"
"Mhmm" I started her hair
"Oshin I really want us to be friends again" She sighed
"Yeah well I'm not so sure. Can I have the time to think about it damn" I tried to whisper to her so the boss wouldn't hear
"So you been thinking about it" she smiled
"I don't know" I shrugged
"Let me take you and Z out to dinner" She smiled
"We good"
"okay can we hangout and talk" she asked
"I'm good"
"Oshin"
"You're done" I spun her around and showed her herself in the mirror
"Damn I looked Oshin" She smiled "How much"
"$85" I crossed my arms
"Here plus tip" she handed me $100 and winked
"Have a nice day" I started cleaning up
"I do miss you homie" She sighed and walked away
Alright now I'm convinced I'm being punk'd. Terra forgives me and then threatens to cut me. Then I have to do Dez hair and she asking to take me and my girl out. The fuck???
