"Mom, is there any new neighbor in our society?" He walks with his hands inside his pockets. Biting the insides of his mouth, he casually sits on the couch. Mrs Jeon frowns, tilting her head.

"No! There isn't any." She tells, concentrating on her work, not paying attention to her son. "But there is a girl who just moved in—she moved in the house I wanted to buy." He continues, a slight frown between between his brows. Mrs. Jeon sighs. How could she didn't know someone was moving in. "You mean she moved into the house at our front?"

He nods skipping through channels, not interested in any of them. She squint's her eyes. "How could I don't know? And there was no sound of even someone moving in.  Is she a ghost? There was no sound and even I didn't notice anyone."

Jungkook shrugs starting at her mom, he pouts hiding the smirk that was making its way on his lips. "Let's go meet her!" And the plan worked. "No, I don't want to. You go by yourself."  He claims, walking to his room, not paying attention to Mrs Jeon's scolding him.

He had other plans and one plan was successful. Mrs Jeon quickly took rice cakes and wrapped them beautifully. Now, she had an excuse to meet the new neighbor.

"Let's see if she's cute or not." She thinks, smiling to herself quite excited to meet the girl.

She once again knocks at Jungkook's door, hoping she could convince him. "Come on! Maybe she is cute and beautiful? We can have her as my son's wife can't we?" But there was no response from him. He didn't want to come, he wanted to see her.

"Maybe she just hides from men?" He thoughts, deciding to peek from the window.

Mrs Jeon pouts and decide to meet the girl by herself. She carefully gets to her door and knocks on it, trying not to drop the rice cakes. Jungkook quickly opens his window to peek at the girl. He didn't know what has gotten into him but he wanted to know about her, he wanted to see her.

Mrs Jeon knocks again but no one comes outside. She was curious and wanted to know about the girl so she didn't budge from her place and knocked once again. The door opens and a girl in all black appears in Mrs. Jeon sight......with a cigarette between her lips.

Mrs Jeon couldn't see her face because she was wearing a cap. She looked at the old lady who was looking as young as her, wearing beautiful yellow dress, her lips coated in so much gloss that it was blinding her vision. A soft smile which was turned into a forced one was tugged at her lips. The lady resembled the boy she met before.

She immediately crushes the cigarette beneath her slippers. Mrs Jeon's eyes enlarged, she haven't witnessed any smoker girl here before—even boys didn't smoke in their society.

"Here you go! We have a tradition to give rice cakes to every neighbor who moves in." She looks at Mrs Jeon while squinting her eyes but accepts the rice cakes. Mrs Jeon was as curious as his son was, she slightly peeks inside, not even trying to hide her curiosity.

A deep frown settled between her brow at the old lady's behavior. She clears her throat. "You wanna come inside?" She voiced out sarcastically. Mrs. Jeon shakes her head, her lips forming into a thin line.

"Your name?" Mrs Jeon questions and she smirks replying. "You dont want to know. Might get you in trouble." A chill raised in Mrs. Jeon's spine, she was sensing this girl was something else—someone she shouldn't mess with. The girl's eyes slightly gaze upwards, to notice Jungkook peeking at them. She scoffs at him, shaking her head.

"Is it your house?" She points at the house and Mrs Jeon nods in agreement. "Tell your boy that he doesn't have to be much curious about me." Mrs Jeon frowns, tilting her head, not getting the girl's words.

She points at the window. Jungkook's eyes widen and he instantly closes his window but the action was much lazier because they both watched him doing that. Mrs Jeon purses her lips and nods at her, ashamed of his actions.

"You need something else?" She asks extra sweetly—like honey was dripping from her voice. Mrs Jeon didn't like this girl at all. She got creepy vibes from her and wanted to stay as far as possible—social distancing would be better for her.

Mrs Jeon shakes her head, frozen at her place. She opens her one arm telling Mrs Jeon that now she can go away—more like fuck away in her language. Mrs Jeon quickly turns around ready to flee from her dominating and creepy aura.

"Umm...this is from me," She gives Mrs Jeon a strawberry-flavored candy. "I give it to people who I think are nice. It's a tradition of mine." And she shuts the door at Mrs Jeon's face, startling her.

Mrs. Jeon quickly runs inside her house, not wasting a second, creeped out by the girl. Her lips curled up in a crooked smirk, watching Mrs. Jeon running inside, peaking from the window. "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Curiosity killed the cat." And turns around to light her new cigarette.
