17| "I'm just destruction. I will destroy you too."
She groaned, cussing at herself. "What the fuck I thought last night!!" A cry left her mouth as she banged her head on the oak table. "That guy has made me crazy!! Fuck you!" She ruffles her hair in frustration. "He is gonna come her—" horror crossed her face when the door knocked. She shakes her head, not wanting to believe it. A loud bang could be heard on the door followed by a faint voice calling her.
"No! God, help me!" She begged, almost tearing up. Last night was embarrassing—so much embarrassing! If only she would have not gotten drunk but as they say "it's no use crying over spilt milk."
Now, she has to deal with that—doesn't matter how. She inhales and healed long breaths, a method she has learned over years while dealing with anxiety—the method he told her. "Why am I even panicking? It's not a big deal...I was drunk!"
She walks towards the door, not forgetting to wear her black cap. She opens the door to find Jungkook standing there, his hand in the air, almost hitting her chest.
A big smile tugged at Jungkook's lips when he saw her. A feeling of pride and overjoy rushed in his veins as his shoulders raised a bit. "What are you doing here?" She questioned her tone as usual, flat and deep.
Jungkook chuckled, a chuckle radiating happiness. "Came to meet my dear friend." He chirped, flashing his bunny smile. Friend—dear. The words ring in her mind over and over again. She gulped the lump in her throat that started hurting her throat.
Her eyes glossed at the words—words she heard after years. Jungkook smiled, raising his brows. "What? You said that you're my friend last night." Lie, again a lie. She clearly remembers what happened last night and she never called him her friend.
Shall we go back to last night? Let's see.....
She shake her head, everything was becoming blurry. "The alcohol is getting me." She mumbles, almost inaudible. Jungkook slurps the noodles, focused on the ramen that he got after a lot of whining. Suddenly, he heard sniffing from the front. He lifts his head to witness her head hung low, tears falling on the table.
"Is she crying?" He mumbles, noodles hanging from his mouth, his doe-eyes wide, staring at her in confusion. "It's all because of me!" She whispers to herself, tears streaming down her face.
"I should've died! I don't deserve to be happy!" She sobs, getting up from the chair. The alcohol was showing its effect, spilling the emotions that she has buried deep inside her. Even though she was drunk, no one could tell that because her composure was as usual. Jungkook blinks his eyes, staring at her going outside without telling him.
