Flashback
I looked over at Hunter and saw an envelope in his hands. "I told you that I had a surprise for you on your birthday. I never got the chance to do it so I am gonna do it now. This envelope has a clue in it. There are ten envelopes that you have to find. Each one leads you closer to your surprise." He handed me the envelope and we got out of the truck. "Oh and they don't rhyme at all. I'm not very good at that stuff." I nodded in response.
End of Flashback
I opened the envelope and read...
'One of your favorite colors is green. Look around green areas and you will find your next clue. You might want to hurry before it disappears.'
Umm, okay well what's green. I looked around. Most of this place is dirt and unless I am color blind, dirt is a brown color. Nethertheless I continued to look. That's when I found it... A small area of grass. I took off running towards it. Hunter was behind me but I could tell something was off. I looked everywhere in the grass but couldn't find anything.
"Umm, you have less than 5 minutes," Hunter says. I roll my eyes and try to find more green. I looked on the track and that's when I saw it. One little sparkling clue on a car. Wait! Not just any car, one of the race cars. I began running again. There was a timer ticking away to let the drivers know when they could go and it was on 2 minutes. I made my legs run faster. I was getting close, then a car runs out in front of me. I finally get to the car, I grab the envelope and head back to the truck.
As soon as I was safe in the truck, I opened the second envelope of the day.
