"alright, miss baek haewon. you know your job. as soon as you snipe the leader, a car will wait for you just outside of the building you're going to enter" the sound of her boots clicking were heard as she walked in the tall mall building in a fast pace. she swiftly avoided the people around the area.
she tied her hair up in a messy bun and adjusted her mask as she entered the emergency exit where lots of staircases were. "roger that"
"seems like it's a simple job for you, miss baek haewon" she rolled her eyes in annoyance as she stepped the long stairs quickly. her eyes glanced the watch on her wrist, it's almost time for the woman to be inside her personal office.
"it would be lovely if you stop calling me by my full name, sir huang renjun" she heard him laughed through the in-ear. "i don't understand. why are you the one assisting me and not the boss himself? isn't this somekind of a big mission?"
"well, according to the files. it's not a top secret mission. besides, the group you're trying to take down is a small underground group" renjun explained and she heard the sound of him tapping on a keyboard.
"i doubt that" she stated truthfully but then focused on her one job. when she entered the rooftop she made sure no one were around, even though it was clear that the rooftop area were forbidden for the time being.
she set her signature sniper up and pulled the black gloves she's wearing. she looked around checking the weather. "a great day to die" she said the side of her lips tugged upwards.
she positioned herself when she saw the target entering their room. she observed the woman- took her blazer off and went to the big bookcase at the side of the room. she had a clear shot.
"target locked, i have a clear shot. permission to fire" haewon could just pull the trigger and shoot the woman but she still needs to do the usual 'permission to fire' thing just so renjun could analyze the situation. in case he could see anyone coming upstairs towards where she was.
"all clear, permission granted"
the bullet went in a straight line going through the glass window without breaking it and into the back of the woman's head. haewon took the high-tech binoculars that was beside her and examined the woman who was already lying on the floor lifeless. doesn't hurt to double check.
"haewon, get out of the location now! some men in black were spotted going inside the mall" without questioning renjun anything further she gathered all the things and calmly went out of the rooftop area. on her way down she let her hair down, fixing it a bit and took her gloves off shoving it inside the bag she had.
she also took the black leather jacket off and adjusted the blue knitted blouse she was wearing underneath. haewon stuffed her hand inside her bag and took a black glasses.
"so who's the driver?" she asked when she got out of the staircase area. "yourself" she groaned in annoyance.
entering the mall area, she saw a few men coming towards her. haewon glanced their way with her cold eyes and turned to walk to the men's location. she took her phone out and acted like she was on a call.
"babe, i told you that i hate that new lecturer. they even gave us loads of assignments. you should've seen the bag i'm bringing" she switched her voice when she got close with the men. they stared her curiously when she walked pass them still talking to the phone.
"i'm sorry you have to go through all that honey. i'll come home as soon as possible and give you the best treatment you could get, alright?" she glanced shortly to the men and noticed they were already far away. a sigh of relief left her lips.
"what kind of treatment are you offering?" she could hear renjun chuckling from the other end. "oh shut it, huang renjun. there's no treatment for you. and did you said i have to drive back by myself?"
she could feel her blood boiled when renjun laughed so hard, it was irritating her. "this is why no one dates you" haewon muttered just for him to laugh more.
haewon saw the car that renjun had mentioned earlier and went towards it without looking back. she walked passed a few people and also a guy who's in a cream coloured jacket. he had the hoodie up covering most of his face.
"i'm going to kill you some day, renjun. you better watch your ass" she hissed as she got into the car.

the guy had his head down when he was walking towards the entrance of the mall. he stuffed his hands inside his pant's pocket trying to blend in the crowd.
just when he lifted his head up, he saw a woman in black glasses going towards his way. she had a big bag with her, her clothes also looked simple. probably a student.
"this is why no one dates you" was what he heard the woman said. she's probably talking to the person on her phone.
he stood there staring her back who was on her way to an expensive bmw. he grabbed his hoodie jacket trying to see her better. there's something about her that he can't pinpoint.
why does the voice sounds so familiar?
