There was no time to lose, whoever they were they not only knew of Kia's existence, but also of her immense power, Kia was certainly enough to protect herself, but she was not capable of controlling herself.

After much debate, they decided that the best trump card they had was to find the origin of the mysterious voice the girl was talking about, at the same time it was risky, the voice itself was the one that pushed Kia in the industrial sector, maybe that anger was not hers? Maybe that anger came from that mysterious person? in any case, they could not stand still much longer.

They decided to start with the only clue they had, the sewers of the commercial sector.

"Yuck, this smells horrible", complained Teph as they entered that stinking place, "And what do you expect, that they put air freshener in the sewers?", replied Cleo in a bad way, "This way I stayed, two of those weird men just appeared", pointed out Kia as they reached the entrance to the sewers, "The hooded men?", asked Teph, "Yes, those same ones, the weird ones".

The Klempey sewers crossed the entire city underneath, they were huge tunnels that transported all the waste water of the city outside the walls, avoiding flooding due to heavy rains, the tunnels were illuminated with small green runes, there was not good visibility since they were not able to illuminate the entire instance, but it was enough to navigate them with caution.

They walked for almost an hour without finding anything of interest, the long tunnel in which they found themselves was joined by others that brought water from other parts of the city, finally they reached one of the entrances that went down to the sewers, they had seen neither hooded, nor giant doors.

Kia tried to call the voice, but since what happened in the industrial sector, he did not speak to her again.

Seeing that the search was not giving any results, Teph and Cleo decided it was better to leave it until the next day, they had gone late to avoid the crowds of people and the sun was about to set.

Lenin stopped them and motioned them to be quiet, footsteps were slowly approaching their position, the four of them ran towards the exit and hid there.

Two hooded men came to the area where they were, they did not stop, they simply continued their march through the sewers.

The most sensible decision was to return to the surface, they had confirmed that something was indeed hiding in the sewers, but they had to find a way to get to the strange door if they wanted to progress.

It made sense considering all the time they had been exploring the sewers, but it was still a coincidence that did not leave a good taste in their mouths.

They decided to follow the same tactic they had used to get there, they split into two groups to get through the sector without attracting attention, Cleo and Teph went one way, while Lenin and Kia took a different path.

"Who knew we'd end up as bodyguards for a goddess?" asked Teph wryly when they had been walking for a couple of minutes.

"Not me, if that's what you're wondering, but we don't get to choose our responsibilities."

Teph burst out laughing at the ominous line Cleo had just blurted out, "You're more like Lenin than you know," he continued in an affable tone.

Cleo smiled slightly at Teph's words, "He is my father after all."

Teph was surprised to hear that, Cleo and Lenin had always been like father and daughter, but he had never heard Cleo call Lenin her father.

"I don't want to butt in where I'm not wanted, and if you answer me I guess you'll earn the right to ask me another question, but what happened to your biological father?", Teph had never dared to ask Cleo that question, she had always been very evasive on the subject and was afraid of hurting him by bringing it up, but since the industrial sector, she looked different, more confident and at peace with her past.
