Unfinished paintings like unfinished promises.
I'll finish the piece if you meet me halfway.
Unmixed palettes like forgotten emotions.
I'll find colours when you bring them out in me first.Unnecessary final touches like frivolous fighting.
I promise to stop if you can take me far away from the storm.
Forgotten hues, unused pastels.
I'll build a masterpiece if I can stop myself from fading into oblivion.Unhappy moments on dark grey canvases.
Remind me of warm hues again, teach me how to paint my life with them.
Unreached accomplishments slipping further away,
Like picturesque references saved on deserted Boards.New shiny tools for me to use,
Lost potential to a crumbling world.
Unfinished paintings testing my patience:
How far can you strive before it destroys you from the inside?
