Anklets resonated a synchronized music as she entered the small dark study room, tiptoeing with her small alta laden feet. Smiling covered the distance upto the window and slided the hanging curtains to side, letting the mist golden rays lit up the dark room and giving these lifeless objects a meaningful life again.
Turning back, she rolled her eyes, at her beloved who remain unscathed by the shivering cold breeze or the dainty sunlight.
Glancing at her wrist watch for once decided to crush his adorb chimera.
"Patibabu....." She sweetly cooed at her husband, who was sleeping messily on the couch with a pair of books clutching close to his chest.
His chest. Ahhh.. How much she wished to replace that place by the books with herself. How enchanting it would feel to spend a night like this? Keeping her head on his chest, listening his heartbeats, sometimes playing with his messy hairs.
Sinful dreams, she dismissed the thought.
Such thoughts would always die out in the middle, as she knew holding this delusion to herself more than longer would do nothing but give her lil heart ineffable heartbreaks.
"Patibabu..."
She kneeled beside him and gently removed the books from his well built check. His eyes fluttered at little amid sleep as her hand lightly brushed with him in the process, which didn't remain unnoticed by her.
Was he playing a game with her? Playing games with a game queen? She knew better ways to tackle.
"Kumbha kurna"
She felt him judder at his place at her sudden remark! She knew he was awaken.
"Patibabu, its 8o'clock already. Don't you want to visit court today?"
"Bondi......ta..." He pretended to husk her name, no matter it had the same effect on her. Performing somersaults inside her tummy, churning herself up.
His voice. This was main reason she didn't let anyone to wake him up in the morning. His this voice was only to be heard and admired by her. Moreover it was only one time day, she could stare at him unblinking, without any disruption and the best part was he knew about it but never objected.
"Patibabu..... I am leaving ok? I need to perform veneration with ksj and then get ready for school. Its ok if you want to take a break today...." She didn't lie this time. She was actually running out of time and unwillingly had to stop playing with him.
She could see, his brows forming a bridge completely showing his dissatisfaction. Chuckling inside she ran her small hands through his smooth messy hairs that was falling on his forehead.
Sweet torture, it could be entitled.
She sedately removed her hand from his hairs and stood up to dash out of the room, when he got a hard reality kick and gripped her wrist before she could really rush out like a bullet train.
Yes, she was really that fast to run. Otherwise why he cannot get her hold in the whole day time? Sometimes it would feel that she intentionally runs away and comes back to him, when he is fast asleep. This torture on his part.
Bondita quivered at her place as Anirudh's thumb caressed her skin, doing slow and continuos ministration on her.
Unable to turn back or able to trust her own voice, she stepped back facing her back to him, waiting for him to say.
"You want to go school today?" He asked a very common question to initiate a conversation.
"Yes patibabu. Don't I go all and sundry?" She gathered mettle to move her neck side way and have a glance at him, when she was him smirking narrowing his eyes.
