The licitly wedded pair moseyed through concrete pavement which was fringed by mesmerizing pomegranate trees holding each other hand in hand. The verve of quietude spoke louder than the beautiful murmuring both were shying for. The charismatic moon behind walked with them throwing their impassioned shadow on the dimly lighted cloistered way.

Conforming some steps with each other alone at night on this beautiful earth, only the moon being their spectator was sometime so usual yet inexplicably romantic.

"Bondita....nights are nonpareil beauty right?" He asked in a low tone, grazing his fingers on her red bangles as he held her hand.

Nodding bashfully Bondita whispered, " True Barrister babu..."

She could feel him groan internally as she chiacked him by "barrister babu". She knew he dudn't like her calling like that and neither did she. Yet it was for her self alluding, that no matter how much their relationship changes, there would be always a barrier they can never cross. This barrister babu would always remind her of caging her heart to herself, scolding and reminding again and again that it was forbidden to fall in love.

And the most satirical part was, he never professed his disapprobation person-to-person. It was woeful on her part.

"Bondita... How are feeling being with your patibabu under this night sky, for the very first time?" He stressed at the endearment "patibabu".

"Unutterable, Birristera babu.... Looks like I am exploring this sky in a new way today..." She replied and careened her head on his shoulder inclining more closer.

"Oh really?" He husked.

"Yes...." She breathlessly replied "As if I am falling in love again....." She paused and looked up to meet his dark eyes drowning in surfeit of fervour and said, "with this nature again".

With you again.... She wanted to screech shamefully, unfairly but her lips were as always silent.

Covering up the half an hour walking distance, Anirudh and Bondita ended up at Sampoorna's house. Separating from each others arm, Anirudh rattled on the door and was warmly received by Sampoorna.

"Anirudh....Bondita....." She nearly jumped out of happiness when Bondita engulfed her in a bone crushing hug making sure she doesn't exert pressure on her baby bump. "Sampoorna did! How are you doing?" "Ohh Bondita I am fantastic dear, how are you?" She asked patting her head lovingly.

"Just like I am looking to you!" She grinned breaking the hug while Anirudh faked coughed for some spotlight.

"Oh Anirudh...." Sampoorna chuckled whilst Bondita vaguely hit on his arm only to receive a playful whine from him. "Bondita...."

Nodding at the couple in incredulity, Sampoorna pulled the couple inside before they could start their tom and jerry fight. "These both are kids!"

Later that day, after the dinner, Anirudh was getting ready for leaving to Krishnanagar, while Bondita was inside Sampoorna's room chit chattering with her.

It had been months they both sister sat like this and gossiped. Though Bondita was non stop prattling infront her sister, but her gaze did turn to the main door every five minutes checking out for her patibabu, which was meticulously spotted by a smirking Sampoorna.

At last not being able to handle the churning of her stomach, she asked a coy Bondita, her voice holding mischievousness , "Bondita.....seems like you aren't relishing your moment with your Sampoorna Didi today..."

"Huh? Who said that? Bondita is enjoying her heart out with her Sampoorna Di..." She said cutely.

"Achcha? Then why are you espying at the ingress time to time?"

"Nothing Sampoorna di.... Just like that... You know na my orbs are as tyrant as me, can never stay at one place! Shotti!"

"Oh really, doesn't seems soo..."

"Sampoorna Diiii..."

"Ok okey! Ahhh..." She suddenly yelped.

"What happened di, are you ok?" Bondita jumped beside Sampoorna as her hand reached to her protruded belly. Oh, a life inside it, gave her a sharp chill.

"Bondita...." She gasped and gently clutched her belly with her both hands, tears welling up her eyes.

"Didi, what happened? Is it paining? Shall I call Mami?"

"No Bondita.... My...my baby kicked..." Her happiness knew no bound today. It was one of the most blissful moment, she encountered throughout her pregnancy.

"It kicked?! Oh wow!" Bondita squealed in happiness. "Can I touch feel it?" She asked a bit falteringly.

"Why not Bondita...come..." Sampoorna affectionately said and placed Bondita's small hand on her comparatively large tummy, making her feel the baby's kick.

"Ahhhh....." Both the sisters screamed aloud as the baby kick. One is the heavenly joy of motherhood, other at the mild experience of motherly emotions.

Feeling this was different, she could feel as her chest heavied up, an unascertained twinge filling inside. Till now she had only discerned pregnant women around her but never knew how a kick would feel like. For Sampoorna, her wait was finally fruitful.

A life inside her, this mere thought made her inside crumble. All the taunts she overheard earlier scratching her untold old wounds again.

"Bondita.... How did it felt?"

"Is this the bless of motherhood?" She whispered unbelievably whilst Samporna passed her a checky smile. Wandering her hands in Sampoor's protruded belly, Bondita smiled broadly. It felt out of the world.

"I really hope my sister gets this blessing soon...." Sampoorna said and patted Bondita's head who chuckled painfully.

"Why don't you call Binoy Sasurji and inform him about the baby's first kick?" Bondita changed the topic intentionally which was quite understood by Sampoorna.

"I will...." She smiled.
