Y/N's pov: I had just arrived into this new place called encanto with my bestie, Maeve. Them and me ran away from our toxic homes and have found ourselves here after a whole lotta walking, crying, frustration and hopelessness.
"I knew we would find this place!" They exclaimed, smiling proudly.
"I feel sunburnt, at least you had a hat." I groaned, feeling my hot face.
"Your fine, don't worry" They said taking their hat off.
"Yeah yeah, I hope it's just worth it, I'm so tired." I said exhaling.
"I promise it will be" Maeve said smiling at me.
I smiled back sweetly, their so nice.
"I'm hungry tho, you got some money?" I asked them, as we walked through town.
"Yeah it's right in- here?" Maeve said, beginning to panic.
"I-I swear I had it in here! Ugh im so stupid.." They sighed, as I saw tears forming.
"Hey hey, it's okay. We will figure something out" I comforted her, as I brought her into a tight hug.
"Hola amigos" Someone said, and we broke the hug.
I saw two boys who looked like.. twins?
"Uhm, can we help you?" Maeve said, raising an eyebrow.
"Well i over heard you guys and I wanted to offer you guys some money" A guy wearing a yellow ruana said, handing Maeve some money.
Maeve counted it.
"3.. 4.. 5.. 8.. 10.. 14.. 18.. $20??" They exclaimed, as I widened my eyes.
"Thank you so much!!" They smiled, hugging the yellow ruana wearing dude.
I giggled at the sight. Then I saw the other boy.
He wore a maroon coloured ruana, and unlike the other boy's hair, his was covering his right eye. He also had earphones in, listening to music I assume while he had his eyes closed.

I looked back over and saw Maeve wondered off somewhere with the other boy.
"Maeve?? Where are you?!" I yelled, since I couldn't see her.
"MAEVE!" I yelled out once again, starting to panic.
"Chill, they just went to go get some food. They'll be back in a few." The other boy said, looking at me with a blank face.
"Thanks.." I muttered, feeling completely embarrassed.
I wonder what his name is.. No, that'll be rude to just ask him. You don't even know him! Ugh your so stupid y/n! I thought to myself as I stood there awkwardly.
"If you want to ask for my name just ask, it isn't rude you know." He said, taking his earphones out.
He.. knows what I thought?
"Yes. I can read minds idiot." He said once again, rude.
"Well.. what's your name then.." I asked, frowning a little.
"Carlos Madrigal. And the other boy your friend walked off with is camilo Madrigal, my twin indeed." He explained, stuffing his phone and earphones into his pocket.
"My name is Y/N, Y/N L/N" I spoke, holding my hand out for him to shake.
To which he luckily did.
"Soooo..." I said, thinking of what to do.
Just say something y/n, your so awkward. This is why you don't have friends!
I yelled at myself in my mind, not remembering Carlos could read minds.
He chuckled, letting go of my hand.
"Your not being awkward, trust me" He smiled.
His smile was so cute. I felt my face heat up a lot.
"You have a cute smile.." I muttered, hiding my face with my hands.
"Heh, you really think so hermosa?" He said, leaning closer to me, our faces only a few inches away.
"Y-yep! Too close too close!" I quickly said, pushing his face away as I started sweating, knowing my face was as red as a tomato.
"*chuckles* I can hear your friend's thoughts. Their so crushing on my brother" He rolled his eyes playfully, as I calmed down.
"Sounds like them." I scoffed.
"Well, double dates are a thing you know?~" He smirked, and I saw what he was doing.
Game on.
"Is that so? Carlos Y/L/N~ (your last name)" I retorted, moving closer to him as he went wide eyed, beginning to blush as he processed what I said.
"We are back! Sorry we took so long" Maeve said as I turned to them, quickly hugging them.
They giggled, and hugged back.
"You we're gone so longgg" I whined, as they let go of the hug.
"So~ you and camilo huh?" I smirked, as they punched my stomach. (Not too hard but deff not soft lmao.)
"OW!" I yelled out, grabbing Carlos and camilo's attention, both of them looking in confusion.
"Rude.." I said, rubbing my stomach as she smiled proudly.
"You good there-?" Carlos asked, as I quickly nodded.
"Oh yeah, since you guys don't have a house you can live with us!" Camilo exclaimed proudly.
"WHAT! NO-!" Carlos began to yelled, but camilo quickly shut him up by smacking the back of his head. (Like this)

"As I was saying, you guys can live with us! Y/N, you can stay in carlos' room and Maeve will stay in mine!" Camilo said once again, grabbing maeve's wrist leaving an angry carlos.
"Perra.." Carlos muttered under his breath, scoffing.
